    I booked based on position; close to Austerlitz Train station as well as reasonable price. The hotel was a bit further from the station than anticipated, but luckily I was not lugging my 14KG bag. Very easy to walk if you have light luggage. The receptionist was incredibly helpful throughout my stay (and spoke English, which was great as I speak no French) My room was clean & modern. Perfect for 1 person for a night or 2 two. There is a very nice shopping mall 15 minutes away in one direction.18 minutes walk in another direction is the wonderful Jardin des Plantes (and near the Seine). I left too early in the morning to have breakfast, but the breakfast area and set-up looked quaint and pleasant.

    We stayed here to visit the Paralympics. The l8cation close to the train and metro was fantastic. There are loads of great eating options close by. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was lovely and clean.
