Visiting family and a trip into Newcastlefor football. Metro close by as was the sea front. Bars and restaurants around.

The guest house is in a good location, near to the seafront and to the shops and restaurants. All the plug sockets had USB charging points, which is a big plus. The breakfast was very good. June, who looked after us, was lovely.

Communication wasn't very good - I asked a question but never got a reply. The ?owner sent me a message regarding checking in when I was driving there so didn't read it till I arrived - she then got quite shirty with June about it. The room was very cold and we felt as if the owner didn't want us to use the heating. On the first night we were sitting with our coats and scarves on to keep warm. The dining room was similarly unheated. The temperature outside was below zero the entire time - we needed heat (we only heat our own home to 18C so we're not spoiled softies) The bathroom was extremely small and the shower was quite feeble. There was also no plug for the basin so had to have showers when we might have had a quick wash. There was nowhere to put any clothes that you couldn't hang up. No mirror near a plug socket (for drying hair) The reviews for this guest house were good so I was very disappointed with it.

The picture on line was not the same room as we got and we had no heating.and the cleaners did not clean properly find sweets out the bed.

Great location for the beach

Beds we're comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. The lady looking after us was lovely.

A pleasant stay and would definitely book again

Very comfortable beds and very clean and tidy room. Was nice having a kettle as i arrived late and making a hot drink was great. Milk provided in fridge.

The TV signal wasn't that great and didn't pick up all channels. It could have been the weather though.

Well looked after, gf needs catered for and handy for everywhere.

Always friendly, the bed is comfy and facilities are great. I enjoy staying there and look forward to more stays. Near to a lovely park and the sea front.

Exceptional

Bright and cosy room plenty windows to let light in.room got tidied every day and always topped up with coffee tea etc.was very pleased with room.

I thought I would receive an automatic pdf receipt from Booking For Business but I couldn't find it anywhere on my online account. I ended up asking the guest house and they emailed it to me.

*The locatin close to the beach ... 10 min walk * Clean and tidy * Each room have there own kettle, hair dryer, ironing, fridge and small sink in

(( Only 2 room out of 6 have there own toilet )) Sharing bath and toilet was not ideal at all for us spically going one floor down in the middle of the night to use toilet

A pleasant place to stay

Substantial and delicious. Friendly and helpful staff. Good location and on-street parking. Very comfortable bed and black out blinds gave an undisturbed sleep.

Double bunk bed took up a lot of space. A comfy sofa would have been a good substitute.
