Didn’t stay booked a different hotel

There was nothing I liked. It was that bad we didn’t even stay here and booked another hotel

I didn’t like anything If you could get over the horrific smell which I couldn’t. Then a double room was so small you couldn’t walk down the side of the bed

Clean and comfortable. Basic but exactly what I needed as having building repairs at my own property. Staff very welcoming and polite. Very reasonable rates.

Pillows a little flat. One large rude piece of graffiti on the back wall which could have been quickly and easily painted over.

Beds comfortable

Receptions & rooms not easily accessible by the disabled customers. A lot of stairs from car park and more going to bedroom upstairs. It was a struggle to negotiate the stairs.

Bathroom especially shower was large which is great and room size is good too.

Mattress is too thin if you can feel the springs you know its not good enough. The bathroom light didn't work had to use the toilet with the door open. TV didn't work antenna needed to be set up.

Very convenient location with excellent attentive staff coping with an old building.

The staff were attentive and keen to resolve any problem. They changed the room for us because the toilet didn't run well. They have to deal with an old building and often with guests who don't respect the facilities.

The toilet didn't run well to clear solids. We suspect a previous guest flushed a wet wipe or something. The hotel was not to blame because it flushed well prior to having to cope with solids. Likewise in the replacement room the kettle had been used as a teapot and had burnt teabags in it. The hotel wouldn't have known previous guests had done that. They replaced the kettle.

It was very quiet

The room was very small, the blinds were broken and wouldn't shut properly, the graffiti with very rude word and picture in the car park, it was very dated and carpet on the stairs all worn away. The tv kept loosing signal as the aerial was just sat on the back and you had to keep moving it to get reception. We had a shared bathroom which was clean but the toilet wouldn't flush away the paper.

Lovely and cosy!

It was our first time in Leeds and I must say, the property was very well maintained and cosy! There were four of us and we booked the quadruple room. The staff were friendly and accommodating to our needs. Very helpful and friendly. Would love to book again!

Room wasnt clean unfortunately Beds were cheap and rickety. Bed sheets were held on by a screw in the bed Remote control didnt work for tv. Man walked past window on several occasions Yet another beautiful building left to ruin

Staff was friendly

It's very dirty, the towels provided have stains and the carpeted floor is brown everywhere. I kept my shoes on to jot touch the filthy floor. In the room there was a draft even though I closed all the windows and it was chilly.

I like the location of the property and the front desk staff was lovely when she showed me to my room.

The walls are thin and you can literally hear persons in the surrounding rooms. There was this room nearby I could have heard the couple being intimate with each other.

For a price of £90 and the room to be very unclean stains on the bedsheet, cig burns on windowsills and cabinet aswell as stains that had been covered with a tray of tea and coffee just slung on the tray. The shower screen had what I believe to be liquid stains all down it I have taken photos and videos of the issues raised. The mattress was incredibly springy and thin my ribs and back were hurting the following day. The kettle kept going on and off by itself, the television wasn’t even tuned in the tv signal was horrendous, the 4 pillows given were paper thin. They were someone in the room next door I believe to of been partying playing music and been loud until I’d managed to fall asleep around 4am I’ve spent a lot of money on hotels of recent but for that price and the issues from the stay I do want a refund or part refund as this is unacceptable it should of been a happy relaxing stay yet I’ve raised my issues with the receptionist at the hotel in which I was told this matter would be dealt with but management isn’t available would be at the hotel in the evening I’ve since contacted the property twice both yesterday and today and both occasions told the manager isn’t available and to call back tomorrow (Tuesday 23rd September) this matter needs resolving as soon as possible otherwise they’ll leave me no other option than to put all the photos and videos on social media platforms to warn others to avoid staying at that hotel.

Good but room for improvement

24 hour access and lovely surroundings, clean and comfortable.

Bit dodgy with the extension cables in the room - the kettle boiled under the TV so steam was condensing on the screen and the extension cable was suspended in mid air. Staff seemed more interested in their phones than on say, cleaning the windows!

Disgusting & couldn't get out fast enough in the morning.

Absolutely nothing

The room was filthy. The pillows were so flat we may as well not had them. The shower was beyond filthy. There were no bedside lights. There were disgusting questionable stains on the bathroom floor. The room didn't look as if it had been cleaned or hovered for weeks. The socket that the tv was plugged into was too far away meaning the actual tv was at an angle with the wire stretched across a chair. There was no loo roll holder. There was no lock on the bathroom door. Your scoring scale should have minuses because even 1 is too good.

Very very very very poor

It was extremely extremely bad experience, staff was very very very rude and unhelpful and unprofessional, they were trapping me to buy room that was the most expensive, and when I inquired them about room they were not helpfully, when i booked online i got the room where as they told me its gone and full when i got the room the bed was already broken in the room It was worst experience of my life. The staff was still unhelpful and rude to me i can provide evidence

Took Payment before we checked in. Didnt process our full booking so had to wait for additional room to be processed. Also, not sure why photographic I'd required and photocopied. Was awoken at 5am due to people in room above playing loud music until 6.30am . Not really a great experience

served a purpose for a 1 night stay only, but would not go again

plentiful secure parking, easy access, friendly check in staff, bedroom was a very good size, Good location for Chapel Allerton - and buses in to city centre,

Carpets on stairs and landing were filthy, not good impression as you go up to your room (18) Room had been redecorated, but all the furniture was so wonky it could barely stand up on it's own, Door to the bathroom had been missed during redecoration and had a fist size hole punched in it and was in terrible shape both sides Bathroom was mostly refurbed but the floor was old and tatty Bedsheets were not clean, some staining on them Pillows had no protection such as inner lining or pillow case, Some electrical sockets were in bad shaped Battery cover missing on back of the TV remote (well at least it worked) No breakfast option a strange mix of new and old, clean and shabby, but overall, tired and disappointing and not worth the money paid.

Not for me.

I was lucky to get a room - despite paying, as the person at reception said I needed photo ID to stay, and as I didn't have any photo ID, I demanded she phoned the manager telling him how far I had travelled. She was helpful in this regard and they 'let me off' with my other form of ID - the debit card I had booked with in the first place. The room was also clean - from first view.

The bed was very uncomfortable and made screeching noises with every movement. The TV did not work and the replacement TV on the floor required Internet access to get BBC Iplayer. The plug sockets seemed loose as well. Not the safest. Saturday night I got a running commentary from drunks returning to their rooms. Crashing of doors. Not the hotels fault.

The check in process was very easy and the girl on reception was friendly. There was lots of parking. Was good value for money

DONT STAY HERE

Honestly the lady at the front desk was the only nice thing about this hotel.

There was mold all over the bathroom, it was gross!! there was no shower curtain. I fell after my shower because the water fell on the tile. The room was disgusting. The cups in the room were not clean at all. I didn't even know it was a shared bathroom.
