Dean End Apartment 2

Lovely Location. Quiet, Peaceful and Private. Close to the village, where there was a Garage, A very nice Pub and a Village Store which was extremely well stocked so we could find everything we needed. The apartment was very well equipped too. The hosts Michelle and Mark were very friendly, and helpful, and we were pleasantly surprised to find that they had provided us with a complimentary hamper which we felt was a very nice touch. We would be Happy to stay there again.

The apartment was perfect for a couple. Spacious, with all the home comforts you could wish for! A lovely welcome pack, soft fluffy towels and lovely toiletries. The rooms have high ceilings, so even in the hot weather, we were comfortable and able to sleep well. Peaceful location, with only a 15 minute drive on fairly clear roads into Ross on Wye itself. Met by owner on arrival following easy communications for a thorough introduction to the property. Highly recommend.

Lovely hosts who were very welcoming. The apartment is clean, airy and well equipped. The shower is roomy and powerful.

The pictures are misleading. There is a large fence which cuts off the large grassed area shown on the photos, no access for the apartment and no open views of the rolling countryside. There was just a decked area to sit out on with high surrounding fencing and the apartment above looking down on us. There were noisy barking dogs all night from the neighbouring property, and the apartment above clearly houses a herd of elephants. It's right next to the main road linking Hereford to Gloucester so was not the peace and quiet expected or hoped for. Also, the allocated area for parking was under some large trees, resulting in my car being complete covered in bird poop overnight and costing me £10 to get it cleaned before the paintwork was damaged.
