Dimora Romantica apartment

Dimora Romantica was our favorite stay in Europe. Everything was perfect. Klod was so friendly and helpful. He met us at the apartment for check-in with a gift, gave us his comprehensive list and locations of casual eateries, special occasion restaurants, closest supermarket, vending machines, and a locals beach. The apartment itself was amazing...clean, spacious, extra hot water for showers, super comfortable mattresses (with what felt like memory foam mattress toppers), and super-cold AC running already on our arrival (especially important during this heat wave). I.know this sounds too positive, but honestly we've stayed at places more expensive, higher rated but significantly less comfortable. The four of us were really sad to leave this place. And I forgot to mention you can't get a better location (the door opens onto a main promenade, steps from gelato, market, restaurants). Also be sure to rent boat (bellagiorentaboat.com)....that was fun too! Also the place has outlets next to every bed..something rare in Italy!

There was nothing to dislike. Seriously, everything was perfect!

Klod, our host, went above and beyond with communication. Before we even arrived, we had messages with clear instructions on how to get into the property and lots of recommendations for bars and restaurants. The apartment was beautiful and so clean. Location is perfect and very central. We will definitely be back!

So homey, very good location. (Parking would be hard in the summer) Klod the host was amazing. Washer in the apartment.

Small water heater so we ran out of hot water when everyone wanted to shower at night. We just split up though so we managed(:

Location could not be better in Bellagio. The piazza, restaurants, market, shopping all right outside the door. Absolutely great host - fantastic experience!

Could have used a few more wine glasses.
