Disappointing, unfortunately.

We were very unlucky. On arrival there were stacks of old toys and wood outside the house and the owner was on the roof opposite our room using a very noisy scraping tool, so we couldn’t use the terrace and it was also noisy in our room. We wanted to rest but went straight out. On our return after an hour things were even worse, as he was painting a chemical roofing sealant that smelled horrendous. We had ordered dinner and Tatyana’s food looked amazing - but her kitchen was under that roof, the smell of sealant floated into the dining room and we didn’t feel safe eating it (which was the main reason we’d booked). We were so sorry after she’d gone to so much trouble. And we ate no supper that night.

Emergencies happen, roofs leak. And the owners seemed like nice people. But we felt they should have explained and cancelled our booking so we could find somewhere else. This was our holiday and supposed to be relaxing. We couldn’t use the outside space and were embarrassed at having to refuse the meal.

quiet and comfy room, great food, amazing host

The winery is located just a few minutes outside of Virpazar and offers a very unique and quiet stay. With the provided directions from our host we managed to find it quite easily. The room was overall great. It was very clean, everything was comfortable and nothing was missing. The offered food is all homemade and simply amazing. It may appear a bit pricy bit it‘s worth every cent!

The AC was a bit loud as it made some weird noises.

Samuel was amazing waiting for us. Helped us park vehicle and take luggage to room. It’s a cafe/bar down stairs very popular and hidden stairs upto our room. We loved staying here close to supermarket etc coffee was divine

Wonderful stay, very highly recommended

Highly recommend staying for the evening meal and breakfast. Both were fantastic, beautiful Montenegro fresh food. Accommodation was clean and serviceable, great value and a fridge packed with wine! Glorious views and a friendly, welcoming family.

The final 1.7k of the drive to the apartment is a little hairy, fine in the day! The air conditioning was noisy with a strange rattle. But really the whole place was perfect ❤️

Amazing stay with an even more amazing host!

We got a very warm welcome by the amazing host Tatjana, who made our last few days in Montenegro really worth while. The room is big enough and had everything we needed: clean bathroom, enough towels and a fridge full of their own wines. She serves lovely home cooked dinner and breakfast, it's clear that Tatjana puts a lot of effort into it and the portions are definitely big enough. We also tasted the wines and some home made brandy's. The location is also great: a few minutes from Virpazar and the lake, but very peaceful. If we ever pass by, we would definitely stay again and we recommend it warmly to everyone!

One of our best accomodations in Montenegro

Exceptional stay with very good homemade and local food and wine. We enjoyed it and will come back for sure. :) Our hosts, Tatjana and Tomo, were very nice and friendly - family like. Again: The dinner and breakfast are a must! THANK YOU!

Loved every minute of our stay with Tatijana & her family. Dinner was amazing all home cooked. Breakfast fab too. Not to mention her own wine & brandy. Thank you for your kindness Tatijana. Loved the chats too.

Everything!!! The food was awesome, and the place was beautiful! The host was super friendly and even gave us a platter of local goodies for dinner since we got there late. Highly recommend this spot, and we’ll be back! Ah … they make wine and is really good !!😊😊

Home from home

This felt like home, extremely welcoming. The setting is unreal, I could look at the view from the balcony for days and not get bored. Tatiana is an incredible host and cook, I had both breakfast and dinner there and the food has been a highlight of my trip. Definitely recommend eating at the studio. An incredible start to my time in Montenegro.

I would recommend having a car if you are going to stay here as it is 3km from Virpazar itself which is a good 30 minutes walk.

Authentic wine lodge in the heart of Lake Skoka natural park zone. Excellent homemade food and good wine - very generous portions and made to feel welcome by Tatiana and her husband.

Great hospitality and fine food

We had an amazing experience at this place! The hosts were incredibly nice and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The food was marvelous, and what really impressed us was the wide variety of super delicious vegan options available for both dinner and breakfast. We were able to enjoy flavorful meals while soaking in the stunning view from the location. Overall, a fantastic experience that we would highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable stay with great food and a beautiful atmosphere.

Tatiana and her family are the best! We were welcomed with kindness and we got to taste the amazing cooking skills of Tatiana, everything is deliciously home made, come with appetite!! We had a lot of towels and a comfortable room and the winery is a lovely place to explore Lake Skadaar. Strongly recommended!

The room was nice and quite big. Bathroom was nice. We had breakfast and dinner as well which was really good and plentiful. Lovely wine and appetizers. I highly recommend staying at this place.

Very good

The room was very nice and had everything we needed. The diner was very good, freshly caught fish, more than enough for the two of us. The view over the winery was beautiful.

I expected a little more information about the winery and the farm or interaction with it. There were wines in the fridge and wines during the diner but they told us nothing about it. Breakfast was not included but an option and we were planning to take it but it could only be given at 9 which was too late for us, we didn’t mind, but could be nice to know if you also plan to leave early in the morning.

Everything was amazing! The hosts are very welcoming and hospitable. The important point is that this is a winery and homemade wine, rakia and liqueurs are definitely worth a try. It was a hot day and a bottle of cold wine came in handy. We also enjoyed an excellent dinner and breakfast. Strongly recommend!

Beautiful property and grounds , amazing rooms super clean and well equipped with tv air con hot showers . The food was amazing and plentiful and in a really lovely dining room, accompanied by great homemade wine and aperitifs.

Fantastic

The place is Idyllic. surrounded by the wineyard and the mountain. This is priceless. Tatjana is a gem, she is a great cook, I really recommend the dinner and the breakfast! She offer great recipes freshly made with the vegetables from her garden. We felt so honored to taste such great food. Tom is very kind, always offering fruit from the garden: peaches, figs, appels… And least but not last Marko is adorable even if he is hard working on the field he always take some time to explain how they produce their wine but also how he came from a long generation of wine producer. Do not hesitate to pay them a visit you won’t regret! It is by far the best place we have ever stayed in Crne Gora. We take with us the warm hospitality of this beautiful family. We will come back for sure 😉

Lovely hosts with amazing food and drinks!

The hosts very super friendly and their breakfast and dinner was amazing! All homemade and fresh from their own garden! The lady did my laundry when we were away for the whole day, exelent service!

It will take you 40 minutes to walk to the town of Virpazar, make sure you will be back before dark. Walking that road in the dark is not so pleasant. The shower holder was broken, so we had to hold the shower head ourselves.

Couldn’t be better

We stayed there “unfortunately” only for one night. Tatjana, the host, is super super friendly and a great cook. We had a wonderful evening with a delicious dinner combined with local wine. Tatjana offered us to grab the fruits of her garden - 100 percent recommendation.
