The apartment was in a great location, was clean, with a comfy bed. It met our needs as a base for our week long visit to Tuscany.
The two chairs in the apartment weren't very comfortable.

Das Appartement liegt etwas außerhalb (10Min) vom Altstadtzentrum entfernt in einem etwas ruhigeren Teil von San Gimignano. Den Supermarkt, einige Bars und Restaurants die außerhalb des Zentrums liegen sind fußläufig schnell erreichbar. Unsere Ausflüge nach Siena, ins Chiantigebiet, Volterra, Certaldo ect. hatten wir ohne nennenswerte Verkehrsprobleme mit unserem Auto gemacht. Man erreicht alles sehr gut in ca. 35-60 Minuten. Allerdings hatten wir uns auch vorab per Reiseführer bzw. Internet über die aktuelle Verkehrs-, bzw. Parksituation informiert (sehr empfehlenswert). Und wir sind grundsätzlich nur wochentags verreist. Parkplatzprobleme die hier oft erwähnt werden hatten wir keine. Wir waren Ende Juni dort, vielleicht lag es daran.
Unser Appartement "Fedora" hatte entgegen der aufgeführten Ausstattungsmerkmale keine Terrasse und keinen richtigen Balkon. Letzteres war viel zu klein um dort auch mal zu frühstücken. Also ein Essbereich im Freien ist das auf gar keinen Fall. Einen Tisch und Sonnenschirm gabs ohnehin nicht, die hätten auch gar keinen Platz gehabt. Leider mussten wir feststellen, dass das Trinkwasser einen eigenartigen Geschmack hatte. Unser zubereiteter Kaffee war damit nicht genießbar. Für den Rest des Urlaubs hatten wir uns deshalb mit Aqua Minerale aus dem Supermarkt eingedeckt.
