A wonderful stay

The B&B is renovated from a historic building by the host. although not all the rooms are finished furnishing, the guests rooms are very nice and unique. The building is just by the Central Park of Spa, which gives you a wonderful natural feeling. There are also free parking spots next to the building.

Due to the structure of the building, toilets are not inside your room. If you really want privacy, this might be a minus.

Beautiful and historic accommodation with wonderful hosts

Extremely accommodating hosts, beautiful rooms with tons of character, and amazing location. The breakfast was perfect and there are many amazing restaurants within a few minutes walk. If you are looking for a good experience, stay here.

Cozy rustic B&B in the heart of Spa!

The location is great, and parking wasn't complicated. Breakfast was excellent and the hosts were very nice. The room was quite comfortable. The deco might not fit everybody's taste but I thought it was fine.

The atmospheer. The owners rescued the building fro demolition. They are renovating the villa in 19th century style. Huge breakfast!

We loooooooved this place! So many respect for our hosts who restored this villa so super beautifully! Couldn't take my eyes of all the details and care that was brought to it. Next to that, the service was excellent, as well as the breakfast and the rooms where super clean! The location couldn't be better. So happy we chose this place to stay! I recommend this place to everyone!

Great hosts for a perfect time in Spa

The location was perfect for the town center, the train station and the Thermes de Spa establishment. The hosts were very attentive and gracious in accommodating our requests. The room was clean, cozy and full of well thought details in harmony with the house. It was a nice jump in a villa of the past century.

Fabulous stay, would highly recommend.

This is a really great place. It has history, a great story and a great location on the edge of the park. The interior of the property is very interesting, our room was tastefully done with period features and antique furniture but all mod cons including a fan, a hairdryer and a TV with netflix available to use. The bathroom was huge and the shower was excellent! There were even bathrobes. It was like everything had been thought about carefully. Chocolates on arrival from a local shop was a lovely touch :) The hosts were very friendly and catered to our every need. A really lovely stay.

Absolutely stunning renovated house, nice spacious room with big bathrooms. Very cozy and nicely decorated. Unfortunately we booked only one night before and had to go home after. Would definitely come back! It’s also right in the middle of the centre, surrounded and the park is across the street.

Wohnen in einem historischen Kleinod mitten im historischen Zentrum von Spa

Le Vert Bois ist ein bau- und kulturgeschichtliches Unikat im Neo-Tudor-Stil um 1845 gebaut. Die jetzigen Inhaber haben die Villa vor dem Abriss gerettet und vor 10 Jahren mit der behutsamen Renovierung begonnen. Sie kümmern sich leibevoll um die Villa und ihre Gäste. Das Frühstück wird nach den individuellen Wünschen der Gäste zusammengestellt.

In der kalten Jahreszeit schafft es die Heizung nicht, für warme Zimmer zu sorgen. Dafür stehen zusätzliche kleine Elektro - Heizöfchen zur Verfügung. Am letzten November-Wochenende fand leider rund um die Villa, die absolut zentral im historischen Zentrum von Spa liegt, ein nerviges Motorsportevent mit aufheulenden Motoren mitten im Stadtzentrum statt.

Délicieux, dépaysant, relaxant et reposant

Accueil un peu 'stressé' par Luca qui était en communication avec une de ses clientes. Mais charmant et concentré. Accueil au petit déjeuner par Arnaud attentionné et très attentif aux souhaits. Délicieux et ambiance feutrée dans un décor ravissant. Portrait de Luca somptueux et d'une grande qualité dans la cage d'escalier à remarquer. Tout fourmille d'objets qui semblent à leur place. Literie excellente. Bravo et belle continuation pour préserver ce patrimoine.

Endroit très surprenant et super sympa !

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable. L’accueil a été vraiment très sympa ! Les travaux que les nouveaux propriétaires ont réalisés ont été titanesques pour redonner une âme à cette magnifique demeure. Le résultat est superbe ! Le petit déjeuner était délicieux et copieux : rien ne manquait. Encore merci pour ce bel accueil 😊.

Mir persönlich, ist das Sitzen mit anderen mir fremden Gästen, an einem Tisch , zum Frühstück nicht angenehm. Grundsätzlich war alles da was man zum frühstücken benötigt (Brot, Croissant, Käse, Marmelade, Schinken, Kaffee, Tee) . Trotzdem hätte ich mir ein kleines Büfett gewünscht, an dem ich selber wählen kann. Trotzdem war das Frühstück gut.

Fijne, rustige plek in een karakteristieke villa met een goed verzorgd ontbijt!

De locatie ligt erg centraal (dus de meeste retaurants/cafees liggen op minder dan 5 minuten lopen), maar het is er wel rustig, omdat het aan de rand van een park ligt. Verder is het een prachtige, oude villa die ook van binnen goed is afgewerkt. Het ontbijt was goed verzorgd en vindt plaats in de eetkamer van de host.

Niets! Wat wel goed is om te weten, is dat de kamers op de bovenste verdieping zijn. Het is wel een breed, houten trappenhuis, dus dit zou alleen een probleem zijn wanneer je echt slecht ter been bent.

Un enchantement au cœur de Spa !

L'atmosphère de la bâtisse est propice à un voyage enchanteur de par son histoire au coeur de Spa, celle des objets délibérément choisis pour leur singularité et celle des étoffes de l'ameublement qui subliment le décor ! La beauté des lieux d'origine a été préservée autant que possible ! Nous avons passé un séjour réjouissant, hors du commun. De plus, la literie était très confortable et le petit-déjeuner salé-sucré mettait en valeur du pain et des confitures "maison". Nos hôtes sont très disponibles, ils ont eu à cœur de rendre notre séjour très agréable !
