Wonderful B&B!

Everything! A warm and friendly welcome from our host, Valeria. Comfortable room with private bathroom and coffee/tea corner. Good mattress, towels, shower gel. An excellent breakfast, all freshly prepared. Parking for our car on the premises. Great location in a quiet corner of Kilkee. Can highly recommend the accommodation!

Blue Tit stay

Location great and suited our planned trip. Host/ owner (sorry didn't catch your name) was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Room, in fact, the whole accommodation beautifully decorated. Room probably the best we've stayed at. Spacious, quiet, clean. Teas/coffees, hair dryer, etc, all provided in the room. Lovely breakfast, freshly cooked to order with a good selection of bread and homemade scones, etc

Lovely house, super comfy bed, and felt so cosy staying here.

Breakfast was very disappointing. I asked for a traditional Irish breakfast, but what I got was just one fried egg, half a tomato and a rasher – far too small, especially before a long day of walking. Most places would serve sausages, beans, toast etc., so it felt more like a ‘Bed & Little Breakfast’. A simple menu or clearer options would really help avoid confusion. Sadly I had to stop at a petrol station afterwards to fill up properly.

Great find for a stay in Kilkee

Spacious rooms, very comfortable bed, good shower and hairdryer as well as tea/cofee making facilities. Lots of space for clothes/storage. Ample parking spaces outside. The host is really lovely and made checking in/out so easy and efficient. Breakfast far exceeded expectations for the price we paid - fresh breads, scones and muffins as well as a fry or poached eggs. I had a fruit salad with strawberries, melon, apple, grapes and kiwi and some Greek yogurt. There were also cereals and juice as well as tea/coffee.

This is about a ten minute walk along a footpath to kilkee village!

Perfect very pleased

The location was perfect only a ten minute walk into kilkee town centre and sea front. The house was very nice and clean The breakfast was superb very nice would absolutely recommend this location and the host was very helpful and friendly.

I was very happy with the venue the only thing I would say as feedback would be that the nets over the windows in the bedroom were thin meaning that when it came light in a morning the sun shon into the room and could wake you depending on how you might sleep. This is only very minor and it wouldn’t put us off staying again

The Walls of the house are a bit thin, so you could hear almost everything from the next room. But thats reall the only "not 100% good" thing.

Great first night location from Dublin ferry - pub down the road and a local take away too!

We were travelling (3 of us) on our motorbikes, going around the coast (Wild Atlantic Way). The Blue Tit Lodge looks superb and is lovely. Our host, Valeria, was really nice and the rooms were absolutely gorgeous, clean and bright. As for the breakfast, one of its kind. It got us set for the day. As a bonus, it's only 20 mins walk to a nearby restaurant. Thank you Valeria, your lovely place is what all B&B should be.

We found the shower to be pretty low on pressure but the water was hot and it did the job (maybe we were competing with other water users in the house).

Valeria is an excellent host. Breakfast is continental but it's a great continental. Muffins toast scones and I had eggs and bacon. Followed by a beautiful bowl of fruit. Normally I'm not a lover of so called continental breakfast but this one exceeded all expectations...

Everything was excellent. Couldn't find fault except maybe a contact number for hostess... I was so pleased I booked in again the one on booking.com didn't seem to work

Had a lovely comfortable stay for 1 night. The breakfast was excellent - eggs & bacon, fresh fruit, fresh scone & muffin with jam, juice, tea. Valeria is a wonderful host, I would highly recommend the Blue Tit Lodge. Great location just outside Kilkee Town.
