We had a great week but the chalet could be so much better with a little updating of its equipment

Great spacious chalet

Poor equipment, particularly in the kitchen and for dining. For example, only 4 wine glasses, no water glasses and no decent kitchen knives. Main parking space had an old landrover in it for the whole week.

Really enjoyed tour visit to St Jean, but disappointed with Chalet and facilities

House in good location, good room sizes and layout Efficient heating and plenty of hot water Good, well heated entrance room with plenty of space for shoes and coats

Were given the incorrect key code - house not cleaned - had to wait for 2 hours - Jeep on parking space and not moved all week, despite contacting owner - we had people carrier which did not fit under front porch parking area Kitchen: not equipped to cook for 10 people - mismatched glasses and cutlery, chipped crockery, no serving spoons (only sauce ladles), no bread knife, bottle opener broken, were left 1 teatowel and 2 facecloths for the kitchen, no oven gloves / cloths , no bin bags or washing up liquid, microwave missing part to rotate plate Bathroom: no toiletries or handsoap, only 1 started toilet roll per bathroom - not all bathrooms had heated towel rails Bedrooms: several bedside lights not working / missing / UK plugs with no adapter / poor quality, thin pillows Concern: large crack down lower half of patio door in dining area Have been to St Jean Station for 8 years, during this half term week, and stayed in a variety of apartments and chalets - this was by far the most expensive and disappointing

loved how spacious it was !! a group of 9 fit more than comfortably in the house and could sit altogether in the living room, hang out in the kitchen, etc.

it was a bit of a walk to the nearest bus stop that could take us to other places - but that's obviously not the owners fault! the village is still growing and im sure in a few years time it'll be fully equipped with buses and taxis.

Beautiful, spacious chalet in a charming quiet location.

Beautiful, spacious, clean family chalet. It felt like a home, it was very comfortable and was very well equipped. St Jean d'Aulps is a picturesque alpine village, loved the fact it was quiet and peaceful with beautiful scenery and walks on your doorstep.

The only niggle was that we could have done with some basics like bin liners, kitchen sponge, more loo roll, salt and pepper etc. For a large chalet like this, we assumed they would be provided - not sure if the cleaner forgot on this occasion but if not, it would be good to provide these for future guests.

Perfect place for nature.House is exactly as same as described,well sufficient,equipped.Excellent stay for summer vacation.

Little bit difficult in finding route without Gps but it is not bigger issue.

We were a group of 12 adults that had an excellent stay at James’ chalet and are keen to return!

Comfy communal spaces, great views, all amenities you could need, convenient arrival arrangements. The host was very responsive and happy to answer our questions before arrival. The local ski resort was perfect for our group of beginner to intermediate skiers and with the convenience of Morzine being close by we were able to head there on a couple of the days!

Nothing! As James says in the blurb the chalet is definitely more comfortable in terms of sleeping arrangements for a group of 10 adults but we managed to fit 12 in well.

Chalet magnifique mais non entretenu dommage

Le chalet est magnifique et l'emplacement optimal.

La propreté n'est pas au rdv, la société de nettoyage pourrait être plus professionnelle ! De maniere generale, manque d’entretien. Plusieurs luminaires défectueux, sèche linge qui ne fonctionne pas non plus. Deux chambres sont contraignantes par le bruit des évacuations wc/eau et chauffe du ballon d'eau chaude.....

Situación, comodidad, distribución de habitaciones y baños para todos. Entorno precioso. Amabilidad y disposición del dueño, que contesta rápidamente a todas las dudas vía mensaje.

Limpieza regular, almohadas y colchones necesitan una renovación. Echamos en falta elementos de limpieza como un simple estropajo, balleta y lavavajillas, que al final lo compramos nosotros y lo dejamos allí.

Séjour très agréable dans ce chalet au pied du télécabine

L'entrée autonome est un plus grâce à la boite à clefs. La présence de lave linge et de sèche linge est un vrai plus surtout quand on voyage avec des enfants.

Il manque peut être un casier pour les skis.

Beau séjour

L'emplacement et l'agencement du chalet. Belle surface. Proche des pistes. L'échange de messages avec le loueur, très réactif. La literie. 5 chambres et 4 salles de bain ! Le calme 😊 la terrasse. (Car une semaine entière de grand soleil ☀️).

Le chalet n etait pas propre. Nous l'avons laissé plus propre qu'à notre arrivée. Nous avons dû commencer par nettoyer. 🫣 Manque de la vaisselle.( Bols, couteaux qui coupent). Bcp de vaisselle ébréchée. Les planches à découper mériteraient d'être jetées et la cafetière 🫣 (un pot et un filtre, pas de café au chaud).
