At 30 meters from the high water mark the location cannot be beaten. The mattress was fabulous. Great towels. Everything worked. Despite any negative comments the stay was surprisingly comfortable and I would not hesitate to use it again. My request to use power for a vehicle fridge was also promptly met. I received a welcoming email in advance declaring that I owe NOTHING but then the email became a lengthy document of reviews, do's and dont's and photographs. The elderly owner also presented himself with a warm welcome and offered assistance where needed. There is a washing machine and a tumble drier that we fortunately did not have to use as electricity consumption could incur additional costs. The breakage fee was never requested. Full DSTV coverage for TV lovers supply ample choice. Strong wifi with sufficient streaming speed is available. This is an achingly beautiful environment and nature lovers have miles of beach to cover.
The guest gets inundated with a myriad rules stuck everywhere, some create uncertainty about an additional cleaning fee, costs for using the electricity, parking procedure, extra costs if the guest does not stick to the same beds for the duration of stay etc. Some do not apply to online bookings but this is not clarified enough. It creates a cluttered regimented approach, easily solved by referring to a file for additional information. It is all well-meant but creates the wrong ambiance. The furnishing is several generations old and used well past its shelf life. Backup solar lighting is supplied for each room with separate switches. This is a welcome idea but unfortunately extremely untidily applied. Upkeep and attention to detail is sorely needed. Beware, the main toilet cubicle might be too cramped for well rounded guests. This creates the impression that pricing should be adapted downwards, especially out of season.

Very well equipped - there wasn’t anything that they didn’t think of. The view is magnificent. Comfortable for hosting 4 people. Overall the unit was clean.
