A beautiful location, especially early morning with lots of wild birds and farm animals. The Skaapkraal cottage was spacious and well situated, facing the mountains.
The bare cement floors with a number of cracks and without any floor mats (also none in the bed- and bathrooms) was cold and uninviting.The double bed creaked a lot.

Location was perfect. Its nice and quiet. Away from everything. The mountain scenery was spectacular! The Accommodation met all my needs. Would highly recommend.

The location is good, not too far from the N2, so going into Town for supplies was easy. It is situated in a real farm setting, and there is no noise from the road, loads of paths/walks, farm animals and scenery fantastic. More than enough beds, bedding, cutlery, crockery, drinking water, wood and towels including good quality towels and linen.
The mattresses were uncomfortable, because of the mountain water - the tap water is brown in color and I did not want to use that water to bath/shower. We battled to use the streaming facility for the TV. Not much to do besides walking - most of the fields were closed off, and I was not sure if we were allowed to fish. There are no play facilities for children, pool or seating areas.
