The guesthouse was more than adequate and the view was just beautiful!!
I know we were informed about the water but the challenge was that we did smell like a dam after.
Not that we minded but just a heads-up that the towels are obviously dried outside and the towel then smells like a cow pat😁😂

It's very kind of them to provide bottled water for drinking as they point out that although the water is clean, it is brownish due to the natural filtration it goes through.

The location is good, not too far from the N2, so going into Town for supplies was easy. It is situated in a real farm setting, and there is no noise from the road, loads of paths/walks, farm animals and scenery fantastic. More than enough beds, bedding, cutlery, crockery, drinking water, wood and towels including good quality towels and linen.
The mattresses were uncomfortable, because of the mountain water - the tap water is brown in color and I did not want to use that water to bath/shower. We battled to use the streaming facility for the TV. Not much to do besides walking - most of the fields were closed off, and I was not sure if we were allowed to fish. There are no play facilities for children, pool or seating areas.
