We loved the setting, design, attention to detail and the thoughtful caring and accommodating hosts. Arrived with our cups empty and left with them overflowing.

Nothing it was clean and perfect

Our two-bedroom, two bathroom cottage was beautifully decorated. Modern Scandinavian. Definitely European influence. Loved that we had unobstructed views onto the mountains snd olive grove. Very private with own pool, enough loungers and enough seating inside out. We could have stayed longer.

We appreciated the complimentary bottle of wine on arrival. It was also very convenient that plenty of firewood was provided, so we didn’t have to organise it ourselves.

We received a friendly and professional welcome and the property itself was fine, although there was nothing particularly special about it. Calling it a “villa” might be stretching things a little, but that is not really the issue. The real disappointment was the missing amenities like sauna and hot tub. These were a major reason why we chose this property, as the listing gave us the clear impression that we would be able to use them. Once we arrived, however, we discovered that neither was available to our particular unit. They seemed to belong exclusively to other units, but this was certainly not made clear when we booked. To be honest, had we known this beforehand, we would not have booked the property at this price. If the advertised facilities had actually been included, the price might have been reasonable. Without them, it felt heavily overpriced for what we received—especially considering that there are similar places available in McGregor for considerably less. Whether this was intentional or simply unclear advertising, the result was very misleading and left us feeling disappointed. My advice to anyone considering staying here is to contact the property before booking and ask exactly which facilities are included with your specific unit. Do not assume that everything shown or listed will actually be available to you.
