We very much enjoyed our stay here. The house has that lovely traditional Karoo look and has a classy, timeless feel. Breakfast was superb.

The location and setting of the farm are beautiful, and we particularly liked the two pools - one with warm water and the other with natural temperature. The garden abounds with beautiful tortoises and various other farm animals. The communal areas are very tastefully decorated, and the general atmosphere is welcoming. The Karoo setting is unique and unusual, and the proximity of the mountains and the nature reserve is a nice plus. We enjoyed sampling the cosmetics, which are also unique and natural and produced by the owners. The terrace overlooking the nature reserve was really pleasant.
Our room itself was quite basic, and we had issues with the shower, which were quickly attended to, but the water pressure remained just a bit better than a trickle.

A little surprised room wasn't freshened up overnight; heated pool was perhaps a touch too warm, but otherwise all lovely

We liked the location. The room was comfortable and clean.
There were something eating trough our ceiling. We were awake from 00:30 until 05:00. The rat/mongoose only went to sleep then, so we could also sleep again.
