The facility gives you that lovely "old Farmhouse" feel. The Pool was a very welcome bonus. Cate is a wonderful hostess and our welcome gift of wine and fruit was unexpected and much appreciated.

Wonderful home away from home. Great location close to all Montagu has to offer but tucked away on a quiet street so very peaceful. Gorgeous Mountain View’s, lovely little pool and garden with a braai. Cate the owner was very accommodating and friendly. Highly recommended

It's a great location if you're looking to get away from the city. It's quiet, peaceful and quite safe, with beautiful scenery. There are shops nearby that are easy enough to locate for any groceries or essential items you might need. I found the house to be quite wholesome and clean. The hiking trails I quite liked too. I found the property owner to be very kind, understanding and hospitable.
I didn't find anything much that I didn't like and I'm also not too fussy as a person, however I always believe in room for improvement in life. I would have like to be more prepared for nature and bugs though, I moved to a metropolitan city and forgot about how nature tends to creep right on your doorstep or within the house too, but perhaps this is just my own shortcoming. Massive spiders, fairly large lizards / geckos / mosquitos - not that you can do much about them, but rather prepare for their presence. This is a rather minor concern, but some might get scared or surprised by little house guests!
