I was greeted warmly by the staff and the room service was good. A problem with the wi-fi was fixed late on a Saturday afternoon which I appreciated.
I stayed in a well-equipped self-catering unit on ground level. The room is spacious with its own balcony overlooking the garden and mountains in the background. The bed is comfortable and has a nice view of the mountains and the garden. The kitchenette has everything you need.
Unfortunately there was a bad drain smell in the bathroom of this unit which got worse at night when the doors and windows of the unit were closed. Even closing the bathroom door did not help much. Not pleasant at all...

The place was amazing and the attention to detail was exceptional, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen and lounge space was well set up. We also used the fireplace and wood fired hot tub which was great. Local places of interest were easy to visit.

Beautiful setting in a lovely rambling garden, with wonderful mountain views from a private balcony. Very comfortable, well equipped room, with all you could need for an enjoyable stay. Wish I could have stayed longer!
