Oudebosch Guest Farm

The chalets have the most amazing view. We stayed in Bosbok. It sleeps four in two separate very comfy rooms with electric blankets. It was chilly so we used the complimentary basket of wood to light both fireplaces. The chalet is very well appointed with everything you may need for a self catering stay. Linda our host was super friendly and easy to chat to. I loved looking at the eland, bontebok, springbok and all the cows with the magnificent mountains in the background. Next time I will join the morning horse ride for sure! The dirt road to the property is well maintained and a 4x4 is not necessary.

Everything was absolutely perfect!

The accommodation and farm is stunning with breathtaking views and great attention to detail. The staff was very loving and caring. A special thanks to Linda who took us out on her horses, who are well trained and extremely well taken care of. During the ride we were taken away by the wonderful landscape and even saw a bosbok. The pool is also beautiful with amazing views! Overall an absolute gem in the Western Cape and a must visit.

Nothing

Its a beautifull setting the cottage was nice warm and comfortable. The grounds were also beautifull, exceeded my expectations. What would be nice is if they offerend a breakfast with that setting! Just a thought :)

The host is very friendly. Big house, nice view into the nature.

The farm is really far away from the town. You have to drive a gravel road in the middle of nowhere. For 1 night I would not recommend it, if you love nature and stay a little bit longer I think it’s fine. As nobody was there it was even a little bit scary up there. Arrive during the day.
