Baardbos Private Game Reserve

What a hidden gem! We were originally booked into accommodation in Stillbaai, but when we arrived, we didn't feel safe, so we quickly started looking for an alternative. We were so lucky to find this place, booked it immediately, and headed straight there. From the moment we arrived, we absolutely loved it. Waking up to animals roaming freely around our little cabin was such a special and unforgettable experience. The peaceful atmosphere and beautiful surroundings made our stay even more enjoyable. We can't wait to come back in summer so we can make the most of the pool facilities and entertainment area. That we only stayed one night

The porch was partially closed and very cold during the evenings

This place is beautiful, quiet and the animals just strolling by our windows in the morning were great. Perfect in every way.

Watching the different species of game was very nice.

The bathroom was very small. The bed and the way you had to sleep was very uncomfortable you could only get on the bed and have to climb over your partner to get your side of the bed next to the wall. The only communication with the owner was when I had to ask about no power she informed me that there was a power failure in the area. On the last day there was no water in our apartment, later the water was turned on.
