Perfect short family stay break in charming Arras!

Perfect location minutes walk from Grand Place and the Christmas Market. Secure and very well appointed apartment with everything a family needs. Really clean and comfortable and bright space. Plenty of free parking within a five minute walk. Claire recommended a fantastic restaurant!

An excellent location, being within a short walk from the town centre. The property is in excellent condition, throughout, and clean and comfortable. The hosts, Claire and Adrien, were very friendly and welcoming and communicated very well regarding arrangements for access.

Very well equipped with everything you need. Very clean and comfortable. Location is excellent -5 minutes walk to the Grand Place. Very good communication from the hosts.

We were ok but the stairs down to the bedrooms are quite steep so may not suit everyone.

Great spot for a stay in Arras.

A well-equipped and comfortable apartment (we found the beds very restful), which is literally ‘au détour des Places’. You take your chances with the parking, but two nights out of three we were lucky and got a good space outside for a large vehicle, so can’t complain. We’d definitely book again.

Good location in relation to centre of Arras. Property was big, light and airy & well equipped. There was everything you could need. Really good communication from owners too.

Staircase down to bedrooms might be a struggle for somebody with mobility issues due to narrow/steep steps with not much to hold on to.

Very good location just behind the Grand Place. The apartment was very thoughtfully stocked and very spacious. Comfortable Beds as well

The shower door was a bit of a pain as it wouldn't shut and if someone did shut it - it couldn't be opened again. Unfortunately this led to the floor getting a bit wet. The stairs were a mission for me as I have bad knees. I went down to have a look and came back up very carefully. As I have to go to the toilet in the night I decided the stairs were too dangerous to do in the night so opted to sleep on the sofa bed and hubby downstairs!

Functional self catering accommodation in superb location

Very good location, just a few minutes walk from the historic centre. WiFi was good. Owner was friendly and met us at the property as agreed. All the conversation was in French which was fine for us, but may have been more difficult for anyone with no French! Just off the main road so easy to find on arrival.

Slightly odd layout with bedroom down steep staircase and everything else upstairs. Parking was ok for us as we arrived after 5pm on Saturday and left before 10am on Monday so could park for free right outside. Would have been more difficult if all the spaces had been taken, although there was another car park a short walk away which we believe would have been free.

Location was fantastic and parking was convenient and free. The host let us check in very early and check-out time was also great so we could make 2 full days.

Comfortable and convenient stay in the centre of Arras.

This is an expertly and cleverly refurbished flat, with all the amenities, including for babes, by the way. Claire was a lovely host and she did a great job in redesigning and decorating the flat. She was very helpful, met us at the door, explained everything, and even hosted our frozen goods in her freezer. It doesn't look like so when you arrive, but the property is smack in the centre of Arras, within 100 yards of the Grand' Place. We slept very soundly, too!

Nice place next to historical town square

The cozy apartment lies conveniently a few minutes of walk from one of the two historical town squares. There are a couple of separate apartments within the same complex. Our host was also staying at the same complex, and he greeted us just on time, explained the details, and handed over the keys. The apartment is an inverted double floor, where the entrance floor has a toilet, a bathroom, and a living room together with the kitchenette, and the lower floor has the bedroom for 2 people. There is a coach which accommodates 2 other adults when opened. The kitchenette has all the necessary utensils, a microwave, and a fridge. The living room is not spacy, especially when the couch is open, but is still optimal for 4 people. The house has free WiFi and its quality was satisfactory. The heating of the apartment was also quite good. The place in general was very clean. The street in front of the apartment has paid street parking during the days, however only a few minutes away there is a sufficiently big free car park. Overall, this is a very convenient and nice place to stay in Arras.

The toilet does not have its own a sink to wash the hands, hence the one in the bathroom needs to be used. Note that a 300 Euro credit card deposit is taken upon check-in to the apartment, and then released if all goes well.
