The property was great itself. Very clean!
The staff in general were amazing! However member from the bar made a cocktail (watermelon fizz) and it was not good - didn’t taste like watermelon. I didn’t drink it and mentioned it to the bar staff however they still charged me. I maintained the high rating, as overall I did not want to lower my review because of this, but ideally this would be refunded.

The place itself is amazing, it’s a green and quiet oasis at the brim of the busy Canggu area. We had double rooms which were very comfortable, modern and well equipped with mini bar, air con and enough space to hang your wet clothes.
The food is also great - if you don’t want to leave the camp, you never have to. If you do, there are beach, a few restaurants, a spa and mini market all in walking distance <10 minutes.
The surf teachers were mostly good to very good, all spoke decent English and cared for teaching you not only a nice holiday wave, but actually improving. Video analysis supported this.
Reception and house keeping were always very friendly and you could reach them within minutes per messenger.
It’s a bit more pricy than the average surf camp, but definitely worth it.
The bar staff was sometimes a bit hard to get.
What was really annoying was their payment system - I was asked twice to settle our bill even though I had paid through booking, and the staff on the ground didn’t seem to have any visibility.
Instead of taking a credit card as security to cover running bills, as I would expect from a place on this service level, you had to settle your running bill every day. They always asked me to pay all three rooms in my group even though we asked to split that on day one.
Also the bills the staff had never matched with what they send me online, so there was a lot of calculating and explaining every time. Big nuisance on an otherwise great experience - please fix.

Beautiful oasis away from the chaos of changgu and walking distance to a decent surf beach. The staff were all excellent and the surf teachers were great, a lot of fun and really committed to our surfing progress.
Breakfast options were great, food options were great. The room was really comfortable. The gardens are calm and beautifully planted.
My surfing progressed a lot, thanks to the teachers and the video analysis after. It really is an all inclusive experience if you want it to be. I’m an intermediate level surfer and they separated us into different skill groups to tailor the surf session to our needs.
I only stayed two nights here but kept returning after my stay just for the surf lessons as they were such great experiences.

Why stay in Canggu if lessons are given in Kuta and Sanur?
Meal pricing was confusing. Breakfast not served prior to surf lesson - surfers are only offered a banana before the van ride to their lesson. No food offered until returning at 11:00.
Pricing policies are unclear with LOTS of additional charges. Management was never available to answer questions or discuss concerns. If you raise a concern you will only receive a cut and paste text message that does not address the true issue. You can easily see this in the management’s replies to any negative reviews. Sadly rather than learning and growing, it is always the guest’s fault.
