Good short stay. Would not have worked longer.

Walkable, flexible check in, comfortable but tight.

Stove top didn’t work for tea pot. No utensils at all provided. Why provide kitchen with no utensils. You Need to “rent” upon arrival. What a joke

This is a very basic budget place. Would be ok for 1 or 2 nights.

Close to grocery store, waterfront and bus stops. Very quiet for sleeping.

Coffee and tea with cups not replenished daily. garbage not emptied daily. Info re which bus to take from train station and which stop to get off on would have been helpful.

A nice and budget-friendly place to stay in Lugano.

It was easy to find, and near enough or a short travel or walk to the lake, the city center, train station and other attractions. Place was clean, room was comfortable, and staff were friendly and helpful.

Short and ok

I really liked the proximity to bus stations, shops, city center, the politeness of the réceptionniste.

They don t change the towels every day. I don t expect the room to be cleanee every day. But new towels and a pickedup trash are needed. Shower was quite small. They need to leave some bigger cups in there, the 2 small ikea glasses were annoying to use.

Handy to transit

The location was great: close to bus lines and not far from the train station. The front desk people were helpful and friendly. It was great to have laundry option. There were tourist brochures in lobby. Room was reasonably quiet even though facing busy road.

It was hot weather and the air conditioning wasn't able to keep us comfortable. Air movement didn't reach the table area. The lighting was insufficient in the kitchenette and table area. The kitchen sink didn't have a plug so it was harder to wash dishes.

Short stop in Lugano

Quirky interior in reception area. Bar /coffee shop (OK Snack Bar) opposite beside BP station. More than a snack bar. Very friendly staff. Easy transit on bus one stop from train station. Ticket for public transport can be obtained through hotel before arrival. Store in Google wallet etc. We walked from station. Large bathroom. Large storage area. Good for lots of luggage.

No TV Need to rent kitchen equipment if needed. No utensils.

Clean, comfortable, and great home base to explore Lugano

Great value. Provides what you need to explore Lugano. The bus stops going both directions are just a few steps from the front door. And it has A/C, which was awesome with the heat wave while we were there! Bed was comfortable and room was clean. They let you do your laundry for free as well!

The bathroom could have used more towel hooks to hang towels and the shower curtain could maybe be wider to keep water from wetting the floor, but these are just nitpicks and I only list them by way of suggestions for the management. The room was great otherwise.

Great staff and good location, but not worth the money.

Phenomenal staff. They were friendly, helpful, gave great recommendations and spoke English very well. Great location, easy walk to the lake.

Rooms were much smaller than the photos show. The AC was not able to keep up, and the room had an odor from the humidity it created. We were there for a couple of cooler days and it was still hot at night. The shower was also bad. It was tiny, even for European standards, but the shower head wouldn’t stay in place and the curtain was much too large so it was in the way. We mainly booked this for a place to sleep and shower, and that was the worst part about it.

Everyone from the staff were friendly, helpful and spoke perfect English. I was able to store my luggage after checking- out, which was convenient. The location was pretty good, not far from the Lake and walking distance to the Centre or around 10 minutes by bus. The room had small table and there are cooking facilities if you need them.

There was a bit of noise from the neighbour's.

Pleasant

Safe area near the city centre of Lugano! Exceptional staff who gave us tips on where to go in Lugano and gave us Ticino tickets to travel the area. Fair, budget option which has a microwave and kettle to use (other facilities require an extra payment of 15 chf). Great that we could also use the laundry room equipped with washing machines and dryers.

One downside is that the dryer did not dry our clothes well (though the staff was very kind and helped us with it). Sound proofing is not great and our neighbours were quite noisy at night. Bathroom is a tad bit small but sufficient with a good supply of hot water. Overall, a good budget option for a few days in Lugano!

Nice room very clean and calm zone

The view of the lake is not as it is in the definition. The shaded room on the lake has a very narrow view and does not allow you to see the lake. Why, as I thought, was a disappointment. I advise tourists not to book rooms with a view of the lake. As for the location, it is good and the cleanliness as well.

Superb

The guy at the reception was very very helpful and nice. The location was very convenient with the bus just in front of the building. We left our luggage there and manage to go to a congress. Once back they allow us to wait back in until our pick up was there and we could also use again the service. All in great value for money with confortables beds.

Room was too cold - heating wasn’t working properly- and too noisy. There was no house keeping unless you have paid extra. Definitely not value for money.
