Beautiful, absolutely stunning area and many beautiful restaurants. The stay was worth it!

We didn’t realise how high up old town was and it was slightly confusing to get to however figured it out in the end with the help of Albert and his wife.

Small but great value for money

Albert and his family were so hospitable, we asked for quite a few extra things to cook with and they were so helpful! The place is brilliant value for money and the terrace is spacious and a great place to have a sunset drink. The beds were fine, the kitchen was very small but did the job! Location was great if you are okay with stairs as the old town has lots of steps and inclines. There are plenty of restaurants and beaches near by, the supermarket is a 5-10 min walk.

There is no sink for the kitchen so you have to wash your dishes in the bathroom sink or the shower

Great location, amazing hospitality

The host was super friendly, the location, room, everything was excellent! The host even helped us to carry our luggage and saved us a free parking spot. Both of them are very friendly and they were always checking if we needed anything during our stay. Highly recommend and very satisfied with the stay!

Friendly host in the old town

Host was very welcoming and helpful. They offered coffee and wine during my stay. They accepted my reservation very last minute at 10pm. They made swans with the towels and had rose petals ready on the bed. They got everything ready in the room. You may make coffee or a simple meal in the room.

It’s in the middle of the old town so it was difficult to access with the stairs and slope when travelling with the suitcase.

I'd stay here again

Owner & his wife are friendly & helpful. The bed, sheets & pillows are among the best I've ever slept on. Better than I have at home. It's very clean. Quiet. Has fridge & A/C. The view from the top floor balcony has a great view of the Mediterranean and Old Town roofs.

Nothing really. It's a bit of a hike up if eating at a spot around Small Beach but just consider it exercise.

Perfect location to stay in old town.

The property is located in the center of old town, right next to the castle. It is clean and owners are super friendly, the terrace has a perfect sea view, it is a fantastic place for enjoying the time in.

There wasn't major issue for not liking the property, it meets the expectations as the property is stated in the photos and described in the booking.

Perfect !

The propriety is situated in the castel, it’s a dream property. You have an big terrace above the property and you can see the sea and a big part of Ulcijn! I highly recommend! The guest was very helpful he come after us when we cannot find the property and let park on his spot ! One of the beaches is at 3 minutes from the property, you have market at 2 minutes .

I had a great time in Ulcinj. The owner of the apartment does everything to help and make you comfortable.

Everything was good and I would go there again. The view from the terrace is amazing especially during sunset.

the only thing is that being in the old town there’s a climb to the apartment. if you have mobility issues this may be difficult for you. The owners of the apartment did everything to help including with the luggage.

The apartment it is perfectly located, in the citadel, close to restaurants from the old city. From the top of the building you can admire the sea and enjoy your coffee and staying with your friends. If you want to walk, here is the perfect place, old, peaceful and with beautiful streets and buildings. If you want more atmosphere, music and agitation you can go down in the others parts of the city, you can pick the type off beach as you prefer with sand, rocks, etc. For us it was perfect, and above to all our hosts were incredible. Albert, his wife and their parents they made us feel extraordinary. Thank you all for the beautiful holyday!

Location shown on Maps.me for Apartmani Gusar is not correct. So, it is a bit of challenge to find it. Parking is on the street (out side the walled city) and difficult to find. Bathroom could be cleaner and drainage could be better.

This isn't the accomodations fault so maybe list seperate directions on booking.com as Google maps sends you a round about route. Doesn't use the correct entrance to the old Town for the property

Romatic holidays

We had a wonderful stay. The family of the house was great, nice and helpful, the grand parents were simply charming. The apartment is new and situated in the old town which is very romantic with fine views and a great restaurant Terra promessa. We may only recommend this place.

Lovely small room in the old town. We were welcomed with Turkish coffee, fruits and cookies. There was free water and a nice bottle of wine. The terrace offers a great view. The hosts were welcoming and very friendly.

The location is difficult to find and it is not that easy to find free parking. It took us at least 30 minutes to figure it out. The shower floods the whole bathroom, which can be uncomfortable if you stay for a longer period of time.

Amazing view, quiet but near town, great host

Apartmani Gusar is a good choice for you if you love the sea and still want infrastructure as restaurants and everything nearby. Its only 4 min to the small beach, which I even prefer to the long beach, as its less windy and therefore you can swim there in September and Oktober as well if it's a bit sunny. From the apartment's terrace, you have an amazing view of the ocean and sunrises in all colours. To stay in the castle of the old town is not scary but interesting and only nice and friendly people live there. The host, Albert, and his family are very welcoming and friendly. The rooms are 120 percent clean and have everything you need.
