Wonderful apartment! Cristina is a helpful and friendly host; I asked to drop my luggage off in the morning and the apartment was clean and ready for me several hours before check-in, and Cristina was at the apartment to let me in exactly when she said she would be. I was able to leave my luggage there on the last day too. Everything worked properly, plenty of plug sockets, consistent hot water, strong and reliable wifi, and Cristina also left us lots of snacks! It was a pleasant surprise to find that there were no mosquitos in the apartment; we’d been worried there would be lots of insects due to the garden and it almost put us off booking it, but other than a couple of stray ants that wandered in (ant spray is provided but you won’t need to use it much) there were no bugs at all to bother us, so don’t worry about that! The location is great, in a nice neighbourhood not far at all from the train station or the tower, and even closer to some great bars in Piazza delle Vettovaglie and excellent restaurants around Piazza Cavallotti. Close to bus stops for the station/airport and not too far from a fairly big supermarket too which is open until 9pm. Would strongly recommend this place!

What a shame the comfortable large double mattress is on such a wobbly unstable metal frame! We didn’t get much sleep unfortunately, as every time either of us turned over or moved even slightly the whole bed felt as if it was being violently shaken, it was like being woken up by an earthquake every few minutes! We also had to keep getting out of bed and sliding the mattress back onto the frame because it kept slipping around and overhanging. There is an extra (single) bed in the room you can use if this happens to be fair to the host. Hopefully the double bed frame can be replaced for a sturdier one, I would have given 10/10 if we’d been able to sleep successfully in the same bed!
