The staff member was a bit strange, didn't speak English or Spanish, and was difficult to understand. The extra charge of 20 euros is too much, especially since the guest has already paid through booking.

Ant infestice ensuit

Ant infestive bathroom. We booked 3 rooms, 2 with ensuit , 1 room only. We got 2 rooms only and 1 ensuit, which was covered in ants. Note in the room said no food or drinks , yet they had a kettle in the room. Again, there is no coffee or tea, etc, to use in the bedroom. There were light blubs missing on the bedside table and the wall light.

Location was excellent

Lack of facilities, lack of access to the kitchen, everything was not in acceptable condition, bed was uncomfortable, lack if mat outside shower. Bulbs were missing in the living room. Lack of dinning table. The person running the place did not speak proper Spanish or English, also decided to clean the room next door at midnight as one of the guests had left that afternoon. Broken furniture.

Unable to access the kitchen. The only appliance available to us was a microwave, apart from a kettle in the room. No tea or coffee and no proper cups. Owner is French and couldn't really understand what we were saying to him as he doesn't speak Spanish or English.

the drive way was full of cars covered and dog mess. the room itself was dirty, single bed with bleach marks all over the sheet, under the bed thick with dust and hair. garden view was of a dirty pool with car parts scattered everywhere. shared bathroom was full of hair and pubic hair. shower was broken so had to hold the head to shower. the fridge shelf that I was welcome to use was in a conservatory and wasn’t very clean. the x2 staff showered and cleaned they’re clothes at 1:30am waking up my daughter. as well as sitting below my balcony doors constantly smoking! the other person at the building constantly smoked outside under the balcony, he also walked his dog around 12am. bed sheets or towels didn’t get changed the whole week I was there, resulting in us needing to use our beach towels to dry. I was told to keep the noise down at 10:30pm (daughters I pad) because the guy lodging there sleeping (same guy smoking and walking his dog). couldn’t have access to the downstairs kitchen facilities as they were blocked off. I tried to book a different hotel the first hour of arriving but as it was new year I couldn’t find anything cheap enough. all in all the place is absolutely disgusting AVOID.

Probably the worst accommodation I’ve ever been

On arrival I spent over a hour in a taxi trying to locate the premises, it’s just a couple of houses together with shared bathrooms, no signage and no one on site to let me in, the taxi was local and he struggled to find it he even phoned them for directions then a very rude man turned up to let me in. Then he wanted to charge a further 12 euros for bedding. With the 33euro room charge 20euro taxi then 12 euros for bedding I could of stayed at a far better hotel on the marina

The place is not what I had anticipated it to be . First it was not at all worth the money! I paid full amount for the 3 nights I was to stay as per the policy ( agreed) Secondly, I was to pay extra € 10 for daily cleaning on arrival which I accepted but requested to pay it later since I had just arrived and didn’t have cash with me , but the credit card. They refused to accept that ! I then went ahead to request them if I can check in and change as I had travelled with a morning flight , they however refused to allow me access the room that I must go and withdraw the € 40 before the access. I was very disappointed to get that kind of treatment! The towels in the room are not fresh so is the living room which has a dump smell.they off all the lights in the night.

For the first time staying in such a bad place, no any value for the money. or two nights a surcharge of 40 EUR was asked, why you will only know if the booking has been paid for. Cleaning fee 10 EUR per day and bed linen 10 EUR per day. It was never cleaned during that time and I spent € 20 extra on these old bed linen in two days. The owner is very rude and unfriendly. Don't recommend this place to anyone.

Over-priced. Don't recommend.

The place is very clean, no insects, large fridge downstairs if you need it, the beds are comfy (although watch out for the pillows - because they're quite poufy, if you tend to use a flatter one at home, you'll end up with neckache as I did).

Expensive for what it is. I'm only used to hostels, guesthouses and hotels on booking.com not this kind of strange set up. €10 per night for cleaning and internet is absurd. There's no cleaning daily (I was there for 36 hours) and nowhere charges for wifi these days. Checkin only between the hours of 7 and 9 is ridiculous. Outside of those hours is an extra charge. I arrived in the area at noon and had to lug my heavy backpack around and wait for all that time. The power in the shower is excellent but the showerhead holder was broken so one can't shower comfortably; instead you have to wet your hair then switch off the power, hang up the showerhead and lather your hair before turning the shower back on and holding the showerhead. Repeat for other parts of the body. There's a bath which is great but because the bathroom is shared, I certainly didn't want to hog it for a long enough time to enjoy a bath. There's no soap after you use the toilet and no toiletries other than some showergel. The towels provided aren't enough to cover your modesty when going between the bedrooms and the bathroom. I would definitely choose an airbnb or hotel over this private house the next time I'm in the area.

Very good and friendly owner!

My son travelled alone to meet up with some fiends and arrived 2 days early in Benalmadena, hence he needed a place to stay. We found this appartment on booking and intial communication with the owner was very smooth. The owner of the appartment offered to pick him up at the airport for a small amount and showed him around in de city, which exceeded our expectations! The appartment is very nice (too big for him alone) and the owner a very friendly and helpfull person. Happy to recommend this place to anyone!

Awful. Air conditioner was broken. Whole day I was out of my room for repair it at 3th day and of course final day. It had just staff that was very unfriendly. The light of saloon were off at night and I use my mobile. Also he took 10€/day more for cleaning!!!!!! It was the worst memory of my life.

Nice owner, did what he could to make your stay pleasant and approachable

Enjoyable owner, but there were some irritations. There was no natural light nor a window for fresh air in the bedroom. The bathroom had a small window that led to a boiler room with an improvised roof. Quiet noisy. I could hear people from other rooms, the main hall, the plumbing, everything! There were ants that really liked my cereals even though they were stored on a high shelf with the bag closed. Shower head had no holder. There was alcohol gel but there was no soap to clean my hands (for example after putting on sun cream). The wifi was horrible. And even my 4g was blocked by the room. I was forced to sit outside for many occasions. No TV. After the booking I noticed they were going to charge me an additional 100 euro for maintenance which doesn't even include cleaning the room. Maybe it's just me, but I never had this before. In my opinion it should be included for what I paid for the room. And at last I expect at least some knowledge of English in a very touristic zone such as Malaga.

Exceptional

The property was 5 minutes walking distance from the square which was ideal for night time if you want to go for a drink. It is also only 10 minutes from the marina and the beach front. The property itself was well maintained and had a power shower and bath tub which was good. The beds were extremely comfortable and ensured we had a good night's sleep.

La ubicación del hostal es buenísima, está en una zona muy comercial y de muy fácil acceso al transporte público. Cruzando la avenida y yendo hacia el puerto marítimo, hay muchos más bares y restaurantes que están muy interesantes

No me atreví a usar el comedor que hay en la entrada de la casa porque se veía desaseado, tenía arañas y telarañas colgando de las esquinas. Otra cosa es que un poco complicado comunicarse con Roberto porque habla poco castellano

De foto’s op de website zijn niet recent, doen hun best het schoon te houden en bij te houden maar valt niet mee. Alles is gezamenlijk de wc’s en de douche, houd hier rekening mee. De 10 euro per dag voor de schoonmaak extra die je moet betalen is veelste veel.
