Wonderful design and comfortable rooms with very helpful staff

The room was well positioned, as was the hotel. Nestled in a quiet garden with car parking. Beautiful design and the small size of the hotel made it feel more personal. The reception staff, including the female receptionist were exceptionally helpful, including a. O r to a more comfortable room with a lovely private terrace.

Nothing. However, it would be wonderful to have a small bar to enjoy the glorious gardens.

Great stay

Great location for my stay, very short walk to the beach, lots of trees and parrots just by the parking lot, lovely inner courtyard by the pool, just great energy and a lovely stay in a lovely place. The room had everything I needed, working AC, a little work desk, shade blinds for the windows

Overall, a clean and comfortable stay but with a few practical issues that could be improved

The beds and pillows were really comfortable, and the room was spotless. We also appreciated the free parking, which made things much easier.

There was only one socket in the room, which made charging our devices a bit tricky. The air conditioning was very noisy and even shook the wall, and the bathtub was so narrow that the curtain kept sticking to me, which was uncomfortable. Also, having no elevator was inconvenient.

Lovely traditional hotel with beautiful decor, gorgeous swimming pool and central to everything!

Most rooms have a nice outlook overlooking the pool and gardens but room 25 looks onto a very unkemp piece of ground which could do with some attention, it isn’t in keeping with the rest of the hotel which is so pretty.

Lovely quirky hotel close to beach

It's a 2min walk from the beach and restaurants It's quiet, we loved the historic and quirky feel of the hotel. The staff were lovely. The room was clean and had everything we needed. A large bathroom, lots of towels and a good hairdryer. Always could get a sun lounger they had new cushions which were good. The bakers 2min away sold lovely cheese baguettes which we had by the pool. They looked after our luggage and lent us towels and allowed us to use the pool house facilities before our flight

The air con didn't work. The bar area seemed to be closed. Could hear the noisy people above us on first day but they checked out the following morning all guests after that were quiet

Nice Hotel Near The Beach

The location of this hotel was great. Free parking and has a swimming pool. Easy access to the Malaga Airport and need to walk about 20 mins from the hotel to nearest commuter station. 5 mins walk to the nice beach and very happening.

Location perfect , close to restaurants bars & beach .

minimal bar facility in hotel , needed to upgrade room as original room allocated was poor , this included additional cost . If we had not changed rooms we would have changed hotels , as cheaper rooms are inadequate . This is an old property with quirky character , but really needs upgrading to this century

Charming hotel with great staff

This hotel is very charming, the staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. The interior of the hotel, garden and pool are very nice. Location is also excellent. We enjoyed our stay here.

The room we were assigned was quite small and the doors/walls are thin so the noise of other guest walking through the hallway was waking us up throughout the night.

Charming and peaceful stay that is even better than the photos and perfectly located

The hotel itself exceeded our expectations! The property is full of traditional charm and has been maintained with lots of care. The garden is very spacious with plenty of tables on the patio and a pool with lawn and lots of deck chairs perfect for relaxing. The rooms are very clean and made for a perfect base with everything you need within minutes walking distance.

The bathrooms were a bit outdated and only soap was provided. We had the room at the top of the stairs just above the front door/reception so was a bit noisy at times when people were coming into the hotel late at night but as to be expected.

Nice to stay somewhere different, didn't see a lot but all looked very nice.

No sound proofing at all, every sound travelled and could even hear people coughing in other rooms and the corridors particularly loud and echoed.

Communication was very good with reception, we arrived 2am in the morning and someone was waiting for us. Location is great.

The guy who was checking us in wasn't the nicest but I guess it was in the middle of the night so it was a bit unpleasant for him.

The location is almost unbeatable. Beautiful grounds, building and pool. The staff was also very friendly.

It really was an architecturally stunning hotel with a lovely terrace, garden and pool.

Beautiful building. Beautiful garden and a sparkling swimming pool. Great parking facilities. Great location if you want to be close to the beach. Lots of good restaurants nearby. Very friendly staff.

Room was clean but basic. Main issue was the double bed was on the small side. Maybe other rooms have larger beds. I would visit in the future but would ask if they had a lager bed.

Superb

We chose the hotel for its nearness to Malaga Airport and the walking distance to the beach. Also the parking lot on site - so no searching for parking. It worked really well. We had late night and early morning flights so the 24h reception was a must. It worked well with the staff being helpful and informative.

The hotel could do with a refresh. But it was perfect for our needs.

There's not enough room to comment on rudeness of night manager

Didn't have breakfast. Location was fantastic. Woke at 6am boiling hot coukdnt work aircon it just kept turning off. Went to reception to ask if he coukd help show us how to use it he was very rude said never in 20 years had he been asked to do that in middle of night such a stupid hour.. Wanted to leave there and then. You'd think it was 3am hell of alot of people do wake at that time we don't and wanted to sleep but until that moment we thought what a quaint hotel would never go back now.
