Inspiring views, the cottage had lots of windows, two front doors that lead out to a spacious sun deck with large table and chairs. A wonderful walk down to the valley looking across to Bideford bay and the south west coast path. The terrain is challenging in areas for some of the local walks. A National trust tearooms was only a mile away. If you have a dog it’s very good all enclosed so safe for doggies. You had everything you need in the cottage.

The location is lovely and easy to find. It has great views from both the cottage and the terrace. Karen and Mark are very welcoming hosts. It has everything provided for a comfortable stay.

The hosts are lovely and the cottage is clean, well-equipped and very quiet with some wonderful views. We loved the welcome pack, home baked cookies, bread and eggs from the resident chickens and the warm welcome we received on arrival. Everything we would ever need was provided for our week stay including a BBQ, Wifi and a well equipped kitchen. Its so rare to get a two bedroom property with two bathrooms. Plenty of room for 4 adults. The location is slightly isolated though a very short drive from Hartland for pubs and shops and an even shorter drive to the free car parks for the coast path to Clovelly (3 mile walk) or around Hartland Point to Hartland Quay (4 miles). The coast path to Hartland Quay is spectacular. Large supermarkets are in Bideford which is 10 miles. Thank you so much for making our stay so warm and comfortable. I can totally recommend Bumble Bee Cottage without question, it's the perfect getaway from it all
