About this apartment rental

The Regency offers modern comfort in an historic building by the sea. The Grade 2 listed building has been sympathetically renovated to retain the grandeur and elegance of a Victorian family mansion whilst offering all the modern conveniences to make our guests feel comfortable and relaxed. We have a residents lounge, bar, extensive landscaped gardens and outdoor bar area. Walking distance from Ilfracombe town centre harbour. Amazing hiking close by with breathtaking views. Pet friendly.

Suite One is the garden flat and has two bedrooms. As a default one bedroom is set up with a king size bed and the second with two singles. There is a separate shower room with wc and basin. The living room has a sofa and dining table for four people.

We have based the occupancy as two people per bedroom (therefore four people) however we can make up an extra sofa bed or folding bed upon request at a fee of £10 per person per night. If you need additional guests stay please message us.

The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge/freezer, microwave, over and hob, dishwasher and washing machine.

The living room has a TV with freeview box and the property has free wifi.

For quiet days in we have a selection of books and games available in the communal area to borrow. There is also the residents lounge should you need some quiet time to read or work.

The Regency is located on Torrs Park and therefore just moments from ‘The Torrs’ where you will find the stunning South West Coastal Path, spectacular cliff views, abundant coastal plants and open spaces. From here you can take a picnic or walk to Lee or further to Mortehoe & Woolacombe, taking in a pub lunch on the way. Keep your eyes peeled whilst looking out to sea for dolphins, porpoises and seals.

If you prefer to stay closer to home Ilfracombe has a bustling high street and working harbour. Along the Quay and in surrounding streets there are restaurants, cafes, tea gardens, art galleries and pubs. From here you can take a ferry to Lundy Island, take in an exhilarating boat tour of the coastline or try some fresh seafood which lands daily.

There are regular bus services offered by stagecoach from Ilfracombe to Barnstaple, Braunton, Woolacombe and Bude etc, the Exmoor Coaster open top bus, or try one of the many boat trips directly from Ilfracombe Harbour. So much to do!

The Regency is situated on an elevated plot therefore offering beautiful views of the Wilder Valley and out to sea from some apartments. The front entrance is on the middle floor (floor 3 of 5) and this is where the entrance hall, residents lounge and bar are located. Suites 3 and 4 are one flight of stairs up on the first floor and Suites 5 and 6 are on the second floor. Suite 2 is located one flight of stairs down from the entrance floor and Suite 1 is below at garden level. There is no lift.

The Regency also has a sun terrace, extensive landscaped gardens, an outdoor bar and a brook to sit and relax at the end of the day.

Indoors on the entrance floor we have a residents lounge and bar (not staffed but you are free to BYOB).

The suites are listed with maximum occupancy of 4 people for a two bedroom apartment and 2 people for a one bedroom apartment. We can sometimes make up an extra sofa bed or folding bed upon request at an additional charge. Please contact us if required.
