Main door lock broken, no lock in toilet and no WiFi throughout our stay! I booked and paid for 4 data but we left within 2 days

Mixed feelings

+ a wonderful view and spacious balcony + free use of pool and sunbeds next to it + hospitable owner, which was so kind to accommodate us earlier + quick communication via WhatsApp with English speaking staff

- WE GOT BITTEN BY BED BUGS -poor quality of kitchen equipment - leaking washbasin in the bathroom, creating a puddle every 20 minutes - non-functional washing machine and hairdryer Be aware: *the owner doesn’t speak English, so it was a bit complicated to communicate *accommodation is 4 km away city centre and buses do not stop here, so only options here are a taxi or a rented car * the beach opposite accommodation is a stony beach, so it is not appropriate for children

The location of the apartment is undoubtedly excellent BUT!

The location of the apartment is undoubtedly excellent: the view from the balcony is incredible. But that’s where the positives end. Among the good things, I can mention 24/7 access to the pool and the rather responsive owner (or director, I’m not sure who exactly we were texting with on WhatsApp). However, when it comes to the apartment itself, by the end of the first day I already wanted to leave. It’s hard to even list what wasn’t broken! The door creaked loudly and barely opened, dragging along the floor. One day, it slammed shut and we were stuck inside the apartment until a staff member came to let us out from the outside. Parking was also an issue — my boyfriend had to repark the car three times before figuring it out. The woman who welcomed us and took the payment didn’t speak any English, so communication — just like with other staff who came later — was very difficult. The fridge didn’t close properly, the toilet was leaking, and the bathroom door handle was so worn that I actually injured my hand on it during the night. I could go on and on. I would have given a 0 or 1, but due to the location and the attentive communication via messaging, I’m slightly raising my rating.

Nice except mosquitoes

The apartment is in a lovely place in Vlore. It has an amazing view and a pool. Communicating with the host and the greeter lady was very easy, she was a lovely person. There's amazing restaurants nearby and many markets etc. The terrace is lovely. For the price, it is a lovely house.

There is a big mosquito problem. The windows doesn't have fly screens, rooms doesnt have AC so you open the window and basicly you get exploited by huge mosquitoes, even with the mosquito mat working on the socket. Towels are old and torn, bathroom is nice but the shower is not, whole bathroom gets wet when you take a shower.

Loved the location, 10 minutes drive to centre and had own beach right across the road. Staff were so friendly and welcoming too!

Exceptional – we’d love to come back!

We were truly impressed by the Hakuna Matata apartment. The view is breathtaking, and everything was very clean and well-maintained. We felt comfortable from the very beginning – so much so that we’ve already come back for a second stay. The kitchen is well equipped, making it easy to cook your own meals. Our children also really enjoyed their time here! We can highly recommend this apartment without hesitation

Stinky bathroom

It was a beautiful home at one of the best locations in the world, but the entire experience was spoiled by the stinking and dirty washroom. We bought room freshener, even that was not strong enough to get rid of the smell

Very good

Beautifully situated hotel overlooking the sea. It was nice to have breakfast on the terrace. However, to be fair, I need to raise a few points that may be useful. The hotel is divided into 3 companies, and sometimes it was a problem to recognize who it belonged to, e.g. sunbeds by the pool. The lady owner is very nice and helpful, however, she does not know English, which sometimes caused laugh when she tried to explain something to us, e.g. when the wind blew and knocked over the umbrella, instead of securing it somehow, the lady simply folded it! It didn't matter that we were lying in the shade because it was over 30 degrees, we just had to go back to the room. In the hotel pictures you can see the beach with umbrellas. Well, it does not belong to the hotel!!! It is private and you have to pay for it separately. Overall, a very pleasant stay, delicious coffee in the cafe, clean swimming pool, cleaned daily. There is a small wild beach close to the hotel, for which you do not have to pay.

The view was breathtaking 😍 I enjoyed the sunset with my family and I think it was the most beautiful moment of the day 🙏 In the morning it was a little rain, but we enjoyed the sea and the rain like there was a dancing show 🥰🥰

Owner changed my apartment because someone was renting ours for a longer stay! We had to carry everything with the children The owner promised to get a cot, but we didn't get it because we were loud at night ! which is not true because I traveled with my mother and two children The owner was not nice, she started to chase us out of the apartment in the morning where a small child slept in a stroller. air conditioning is not working and no glasses. No Recommendet !

The day before our arrival we received an address for this apartments, which showed it 5 km from what is mentioned in booking. Honestly, this place is not in the Vlora, it’s outside of the city. Please take it to consideration when plan your trip. The address they put in booking is not precise at all.
