The place was absolutely gorgeous. There are a lot of old details in the house like the vintage winemaking machine that makes you feel like in some museum. There is a swimming pool with warm water and that’s a big advantage since the weather on the north does not allow to swim in the ocean sometimes. And a pool to spend a nice evening with fun. The house was clean and we also received a sweet welcome basket with fruits, sweets and wine, that was so nice! Beside that there is a nice barbecue place outside where we could prepare some meat, it was really great.

The only thing we didn’t like is that there are cucarachas that are entering the house.

Great location, quiet at night, short walk from the black sand beach and lovely we restaurant/cafe nearby. We rented a car so was great to drive from as only an hour away from Funchal

Overall the property was great. Only small thing was that the shower-head kept falling off and the rail wasn’t attached, along with some not so clean parts on top of the shower screen and in the units. Small and didn’t affect us badly at all but overall an absolutely amazing place to stay and we would 100% come here again!

Mooi en rustig gelegen en toch dicht bij het centrum en de kust. Kwartiertje wandelen tot restaurantjes of klein supermarktje. 30 minuten wandelen tot aan het zandstrand. Huisje heeft echt alles wat je nodig hebt. Mooi buitenterras met barbecue en zalig verwarmd zwembad. Top voor een verblijf !

Niets. alleen nogal steile afdaling naar het huisje toe.
