All was good. Like the front yard the most😍 Good kitchen equipment, good location

The only minus is not clean floor downstairs, you can feel the dust on you feet

We had such a beautiful stay at Casa da Bisa. From the moment we arrived, everything felt calm, welcoming, and thoughtfully put together. The house itself is stunning and full of charm, with that cozy, cottage-like feel that really makes you feel immersed in the island. The bedrooms were beautifully decorated, comfortable, and most importantly, spotlessly clean. That level of care makes such a difference, and it really stood out. The surroundings are just as special. The views are incredible, with lush greenery everywhere, and it’s the kind of place where you can simply walk around, sit outside, and take it all in. It’s peaceful, grounding, and exactly what you want from a stay in Madeira. There’s also a supermarket, a restaurant, and a coffee shop nearby, which made everything really convenient without taking away from the peaceful feel of the location. I stayed here with my 18 year old daughter, and it gave us the perfect setting to spend quality time together. We shared some really special moments here, and it’s a place I’ll always associate with those memories. Everything, from the atmosphere to the attention to detail, was just right. I would absolutely come back.

Das Haus ist charmant, gemütlich und hat viel Charakter. Das Innere ist makellos und genau wie auf den Fotos dargestellt. Die Ausstattung ist hervorragend: Die Küche ist geräumig und gut ausgestattet; die Schlafzimmer sind groß mit bequemen Betten, und sowohl das Esszimmer als auch das Wohnzimmer bieten viel Platz. Die Klimaanlage macht das ganze Haus sehr angenehm. Draußen ist das Grundstück von einem schönen Garten, Weinbergen und den üppig grünen Bergen des São-Vicente-Tals umgeben. Die Lage ist großartig und es gibt kostenlose Parkplätze. Direkt gegenüber befinden sich ein Supermarkt, ein Café und ein Restaurant. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Close to supermarket. Hot water in showers. Lovely views back up the valley to the mountains. Quiet despite being on the main road.

Very bad smell throughout whole downstairs property. Each day, we tried to air the property, opening windows and burning incense to reduce the smell. It was still smelly on the morning of our departure. The agent wasn't able to attend when we arrived ( he would have had to deal with the smell if he had been there). I reported this to him. He usually responded to us within 24 hours. But not always. Water came in through the front door when raining heavily. We used a rug to stop the water coming in and to prevent a draught. The agent said the house had been under recent occupancy, but it felt foosty and unlived in due to the dank smell. We feel we should be offered a percentage refund due to the unending smell and the failure of the agent to address this issue over 5 days. The agent was polite whilst responding but ineffective with the smell issues. Parking was free and available opposite the house, but walking back uphill to the property after parking your car is not suitable for everyone. All our party slipped on the steep mossy surface.
