It was an amazing time at Vitalina's wonderful property. Vitalina and her family were fantastic. They are very responsive hosts and they helped us a lot during our stay in Madeira. The property is located in a great position on the island and it is quiet, surrounded by nature, in the mountains, but with an easy access to all the main directions that a tourist may be interested on. The house is clean, well equipped and so welcoming. I highly recommend it.

Quinta do Rosario is as spacious as the photos reveal. Tucked up a mountain with stunning views over the mountains surrounding the property, this place feels like a little paradise. The accommodation was airy and modern with convenient facilities such as dishwasher and washing machine. The house was also equipped with plenty of towels which was neccessary as we used the swimming pool daily. The car ride to Funchal which is a must-see town only took 30 minutes on Madeiras excellent roads.The mountain road leads to great walking and picnic spots worth exploring because of the many views over the island and the ocean. The owners are lovely people. So welcoming and friendly and clearly wanted to make our stay as comfortable and memorable as possible. They also had some good tips on the things to do and see.
