A stunning Bali-style hotel with a beautiful garden, waterfall, swimming pool and jacuzzi. The room was spacious and nicely decorated. It was very unusual to have a bathtub on the veranda overlooking the sea and the mountains. It was nice to receive two bottles of water and fruits. The staff is very friendly and helpful, though sometimes you have to search for them around. Breakfast was good.

The hotel has 8 or 10 rooms but parking is only for 4 cars, and one of the spaces was occupied by the builders. So you will likely have to park on the street next to the hotel. The number of sun loungers by the pool (6x2) is less than the number of guests. So, come either in the morning or in the afternoon. At 7am it was impossible to take shower because the water had two modes: cold or very cold. By 10am the hot water appeared. I twice asked for an invoice with my Portuguese tax number. No one gave me anything at check-in or check-out. They promised to send me the invoice by email but didn’t do that, though 4 days passed. Also, it’s a pity that the upper part of the hotel territory is abandoned and closed

The property is beautiful and secluded which makes it so peaceful to be here and really enjoy your holidays. And the views are stunning.

This place was absolutely beautiful and felt like a hidden oasis. We stayed for the 2nd half of our week's holiday and it felt like a wonderful treat. The pool and hot tub especially were gorgeous. Would absolutely recommend.

Our balcony/ veranda was huge but shared with the room next door so not totally private. Could do with a toilet near the pool so you don't have to go back to your room

the views are stunning, it has a cool pool and we had spacious room with a lot of privacy.

the Buddha theme in Madeira doesn’t work for me and is confusing. it makes the entire space and particularly the rooms cluttered and chaotic. the personnel are indifferent and clueless.
