Super noisy (even way longer after quiet hours), the place smells bad, and it has a lot of broken furniture. I do not recommend at all.

Cheap, yes — but basic things should still be provided.
The room was upstairs without windows, but okay. No hot water (staff said another guest used it up) and no shampoo. After an 8-hour trip before my book event, I couldn’t shower, and it was about 10°C. In the morning, the microwave started to smoke.

Actually nothing…
Very dirty rooms, broken doors, holes in bed sheets, terrible small of bed (dead for asthmatics). So far and hard to find. Friends, you definitely need to do renovations. No windows in room and even trash cans. I felt very uncomfortable and was afraid to sleep in this place.

Absolutely nothing.
A room just above the check in/reception/ kitchen area which meant we could hear everything, from people cooking, to people coming in and out, and people checking in.
•A tiny kitchen that did not appear hygienic and this kitchen was also in the reception.
•A receptionist who upon arrival was eating food as we arrived which was highly unprofessional and unhygienic.
•The area outside the hostel appeared to be unsafe, lots of graffiti and strange people outside the hostel itself. The door didn’t appear to be locked either and the app didn’t seem work anyways that they provided. This was an app called Nuki. The door of the hostel was left open, meaning that anyone could walk into the mixed dorm and that anyone within seconds of walking into the hostel could be at the door of our room which felt particularly unsafe.
•Room and accommodation did not look like the room we were allocated on the advertisement. Kitchen area also did not look like it was advertised on booking.com, as per their image, the area where the receptionist sits is hidden.
•I woke up with itchy skin, my partner also had this.
•Key was hard to operate in the door.
•I have attached images of the dirt in the room.
•Lack of amenities in the room, very little toilet paper, and no bin provided.

Small and cozy, strong aircon that you can ask to be turned down, up or off, I liked the NUKI entry system! The lovely host Abou was so easy to get on with, friendly, relaxed and nothing was an issue, and I could stay way past check-out as my bus was late in the afternoon. The hostel is a 10 min walk to the small nice Zenta beach, which is great for a night swim as you come out and sit agains stony walls still so so warm from the day’s sun! Plus the tennis courts and marina are really cool.
Far from main bus station if you walk but there is a stop nearby for the local buses

The hostel, especially the kitchen, was clean and very well equipped. We enjoyed the comfort of a dishwasher. The host was very friendly and the atmosphere in the hostel quiet, so it’s perfect to get a good nights rest. The beds in the common room had curtains which was nice for privacy and increased the quality of our sleep. The bathrooms were separated for men and women and were cleaned regularly (except the showers could need a bit updating). This hostel is a very good option, especially if you’re looking for a cheap accommodation in walking distance (25 min) of Splits center.
It took some time for us to get used to the app for unlocking the door, so make sure to read the instructions provided inside the hostel to manually lock the door from within.

Mmm it’s one of the cheapest options in Split.
I felt uncomfortable in general. Could definitely do some more cleaning, new bed sheets and beds. Set up shades for every bed would be nice. Common area is tiny. It’s 20/25 min walk from centre.

Bedbugs in the room!!
I reported to the staff that I had likely been bitten and even showed them large, visible red welts. They told me they didn’t know what it could be and suggested it was probably mosquitoes, ants, or something similar. However, I saw that someone had left a review about bedbugs two weeks ago, so they must have known exactly what bit me and pretended otherwise.
The room had no window, the beds were separated only by a thin, crooked curtain that offered no privacy, and the bathrooms were dirty and moldy. I do not recommend this place. It was my first time staying in a hostel, and I sincerely hope I never end up in such poor conditions again.

The staff was super friendly and welcoming.
I wish I had stayed longer

Location was close to shops and transport that were usually cheaper than in the old city. Have to walk 30min or catch bus to old city. Safe to walk. Had freedom and privacy sometimes as not a lot of people. There was a veil that acted as a privacy curtain but it definitely provided no privacy if lights were on. But usually not a problem. Staff communicate online promptly but someone else is meant to clean etc. Bed comfortable and no windows means no street lights, I slept soundly. Electronic key/entry. Kettle. Has aircon.
No one was present to check cleaning and one day the place was well cleaned, but the next day it wasn't, esp woman's shower and toilet. And those are small sizes so a tight squeeze. They have a basic kitchen, ie kettle, fridge and microwave. However, fridge freezes food overnight, only one mug available, and 3 very small plastic cups which together probably equate to one mug. No microwave dishes so only good for reheating. No stove or oven or utensils. Nowhere to hang washing even though there is a washing machine that is often full. Often guest use it as a stopover so people arrive and sleep all hours. If guest chose door to unlock before they arrive, it can mean door stays unlocked if they are nearby. Was not usually a problem. I would stay again, but would try to get a place closer to the action. They were booked out so this worked fine.

Perfect for solo travelers! It’s quiet, comfortable and clean ! What’s more - cheap:) ! Would definitely recommend to everyone going to Split

I made a reservation and after I was at the location guy called me and said they don't have bed and I should cancel booking. I had to search for new hostel, had parking charges, gas charges and lost time. If you don't have bed you shouldn't be available, so there is obviously problem with organisation and booking channels. Also, this cancellation should be done through booking. I got refund but for me that isn't enough.

Was clean, reasonably priced and the owner she was beautiful
Not much

The private room was okay, it’s big, has air conditioning and the private bathroom was also lovely (even though no shower)
Very poorly cleaned, in the private room there’s loads of dust under the bed, it was clear it was never removed when cleaning. (although everything else was ok) The public areas are just dirty and the feminine bathroom even worst. Didn’t look like it had been cleaned in the 4 nights we were there.

A bit small
Skip whenever possible!
Leaking water from bathroom, 2 Senegal guys came late night, one to fix stuff and other to sleep and talk on phone mid night. There is no door to separate the bunk beds to the main area (we can hear everything on the bathrooms, kitchen, etc) and 1 man’s bathroom for 8 men, that’s a shame :/

Nothing
Not to recommend, very inconsiderate. Super incorrect behavior. False claims. Sh*t place.

The staff member who checked me in (Sorry, I forgot his name) was very helpful and friendly. He helped me make a space to store my bike.
Easy 20 minute walk into the centre of Split.
Very cheap compared to other places in Croatia
The dorm room has no windows, no natural light or air.
The room is cramped and most people seem to live there long-term.
Hard to find the hostel (the address takes you to the top entrance of the building on another street).
Some of the lockers are broken, which is not reassuring for safety.

There’s just one room if you want privacy but that too is very small and there’s no window. The shared space is in the basement with no sunlight and mostly occupied by the staffs or workers having a job nearby. The basement smelled like mold and was dirty.
1.0 / 10.0
Dirty and crammed as soon as you enter. Lots of clothes and bags in there that don’t seem like any travellers’.
Fridge was dirty and had mouldy food in it. There is no vending machines. Bed had ants on it and towel had a strange smell. Women’s sanitary towel was over flowing (that can’t have been emptied in ages)
I booked as a last minute stop over, arriving late, and I wouldn’t suggest it at all. It’s a fair walk from the bus and train station of with luggage. (20 mins)
I really wouldn’t stay here again. Possibly one of the worst hostels I’ve ever stayed in. No one is manning this hostel which means it is dirty and a mess. It is far from the photos.

Fairly close to the city centre, you can easily walk to the hostel from the old city. The check in host was nice.
Overall the hostel was not very clean. There is no sound seperation between the room and the upstairs. If you are trying to sleep and someone upstairs is socialising (which is fine) you will need ear plugs to block to noise. This was a last minute book for me I chose it based on the location and the price (that was a mistake). I think this is an ok place as a last minute find and if you want to stay for a night. If you are staying for any longer period of time do yourself a favour and look at other options. I have travelled lots and stayed in many different accommodations and this is one of the most displeasing experiences.

Noisy people, do not respect others, very small room and completely dirty

The linens were not nice. The blanket cover was torn out.
The height of the room was too low. The bed was totally uncomfortable and noisy. The drawers were not clean and were l already full with stuff. There was no working desk.

The fact our stay there was very short
Room with no windows, very low ceiling, uncomfortable and squeaky bed
5.0 / 10.0
there was no shower in the double room and the bed wasn’t very comfortable. Also, the bed sheets and covers felt old and dirty. We were told we had the room until 12pm, but the cleaning staff kept knocking on our door many times from 11am.

Not much honestly
all of the mattresses were full of springs, you could feel them digging into your back and sides when you lay down (I tried 3 beds and they were all the same), pillows were lumpy and I have now hurt my neck after three nights at this hostel - did not sleep at all my third night as I was in so much pain and couldn’t get any comfort from the mattress of pillow. I ended up trying to sleep on the tiny couch upstairs

Great shower- our upstairs room had hot water switch so other guests at our mercy.
Had to install Nuki security app for front door but it was never closed or locked by other guests. Bed squeaked so loudly sleep was out of the question. Bags left in unlocked room prior to cleaning. Out of town. Uphill.
5.0 / 10.0
the beds were comfortable and the facilities were clean and tidy and the cleaning lady was so nice and kind to us.
this is a self service hostel so it is pretty in personal. You have to download an app to open and close the door and this was a bit annoying and takes away a bit of the hostel magic. There is only 1 shower and toilet for the 2 floors and they are in the same space. Thankfully I only had to wait a short period of time, once in the 3 days I was there. The location is a bit distant from the main ferry port and old town. I felt a little scarred walking home by myself in the dark as I am travelling alone BUT it is close to the beach area which is also nice.
