The place is a fantastic location, it's basically right next to all the tourist spots (the palace complex).
The bedding was clean.
The kitchen is reasonably nice.
My roommates were respectful, and things weren't too noisy, I was able to get a decent sleep.
The locker system worked well and felt to be a generous size.
I had clear communication with staff.
There are only two toilets and two showers for the male bathroom. It wasn't enough for a place of this size. At one point there were women who overflowed into the male bathroom, which made me uncomfortable and was inconvenient.
On arrival on Monday afternoon, (~4pm) the staff were not at the desk so I had to wait 30 min or so.
My swipe card for access didn't work. I had to use the keypad codes, which was fine I guess.

Super central location, you walk out the door and can immediately start exploring Split. The laundry service was also great, 12€ which seemed a bit steep but it was washed, dried and folded on your bed within a few hours.
The bathrooms were pretty small and the shower doors were see-through so you just needed to put your towel over it to give yourself some privacy.

The staff are very friendly.
The room is spacious.
Very good location as the green market is just in front of the building of the hostel and the old town is at 1 min walk distance.
Laundry (additional 12€ for washing and drying) is good too.
The toilet got always got a smell.
Maybe adding a ventilation would be better.

There is a flight of stairs before you enter the hostel, shower screen is sea through so you need to hang your towel to cover, toilet is actually small.
I was in a hostel with females then they left and at 1am a bunch of grown men were in the hostel room and I felt uncomfortable being the only female, they SNORED so loud it was ridiculous 📢 then another guy in the room came back really drunk and almost spewed everywhere
