Parc Royal Appartements

Excellent location, super helpful host

The apartment is in an amazing location, restaurants, shops, beautiful little streets, 5 minute walk to the metro. Staff were pleasant to deal with.

Unfortunately the apartment wasn’t exactly what we had anticipated. Be prepared to walk 4 floors, not an easy task if you have heavy luggage. If 2 people stay at the apartment then there is ample space, as soon as you have 3, it becomes very tight as it is almost impossible to get your luggage up to the 2nd floor of the apartment. The apartment could use of a touch up, some maintenance and a new tv.

Bed very comfortable. Room very quiet. Central location. Very clean. (No breakfast provided)

The TV was not working at all, not even for French stations. Loose light switch in WC. Hand basin drained very slowly, due to being partially blocked, and no plug. When drawn together, curtains covered the air conditioning vent. Decor smart, bur a bit dated,

The location, quant building, beautiful streets and surrounding areas. The aircon was great. Contactless check in was good.

The sofa bed is not in a bedroom as described so when the little ones go to bed, you can’t use the communal area. There was a huge, really heavy coffee table that had to be moved to set out the sofa bed. The apartment was not clean, under the heavy coffee table wasn’t hoovered, mattresses and duvets where filthy, there were lots of cobwebs, dead spiders and grime in the bathrooms. Lots of peeling wallpaper and broken fixings (kettle, toilet seat etc). The toilet doesn’t flush and there are loud plumbing noises all night in the main living area where the kids sleep. No instructions on anything for arrival other than WiFi etc. The host needs a lesson in customer service and actually ruined the first few hours of my holiday. I simply asked for linen to make up the sofa bed. I’ll attach screenshots to see for yourself. Please note if you’re not extremely strong, there are a lot of steps to carry luggage. In keeping with the beautiful building but should be noted in the listing.
