The location was amazing. Felt like we lucked out. The nearby square had amazing restaurants.
The bath tub was a little tricky to bathe/shower in. And the pull out coach is fine for a child but was petty uncomfortable for an adult. The stairs might be a bit tricky for some people, but our host was on hand to help carry or luggage up.

lovely quiet location in Marais district
checking in was fine- you need to have your phone on to connect with the host- building is in a great location/ very quiet/ room larger than most/ kitchen minimum usage - very basic - you will not be cooking a meal - just re heating stuff- large bathroom/ great linen/towels/ saint paul metro just a few streets away- and chez janou also....make a reseravtion

Amazing atmosphere, perfect location a lot of nice shops and restaurants and bars, amazing walking neighborhood of Mare. We had girls trip it was perfect for us to enjoy long weekend in Paris, shopping, walking, culture and stay in the apartment. Loved it very instagrammable

Location location location.sleep when you’re dead.
Location is wonderful. Lots of cafes and restaurants and interesting shops and parks. It’s very nice to have some space and a small loveseat and chairs to sit on for our party of five - although we became a party of three due to sleeping situation. Paul our contact tried hard to be helpful and his honesty helped us to bear the discomfort and make the most of our time in Paris. I would open the windows for fresh air and enjoy watching the street life at all hours of the day and night. Very romantic area. Close to schools and bars and shops and galleries - real Parisian life. Dogs. Bikes. Motorcycles. Fantastic area.
Bed was broken - this was known by property and apparently expected to be replaced in three weeks. The management tried to resolve the issue by adding the next door room to our stay. The beds were an issues for everyone age 20, 30, 60 and 70. We took turns on the better beds trying different sleeping arrangements. Goldilocks. Mold was a problem particularly in the large bathroom. Opening the windows helped. It could be cleaner. But maybe that’s just the old buildings.

Great stay in Paris near Bastille Opera
Great location for the opera Bastille (my primary reason for our visit) with some great restaurants around. A little bit out of the way from the "main attractions" but it was nice to get out of the bustle at the end of the day. Close to transport links as well, so easy to get to where we wanted to go.

A romantic apartment in a vibrant yet quiet neighborhood.
It felt like a home. Like I was house sitting for a friend who has the best apartment in all of Paris. The only thing missing was a cat. I think this apartment could use a nice cat to cuddle with. 😆I felt like a local. It was so quiet, the bed was really comfortable. Just a 2 minute walk and you’re at the restaurant that was voted “Best beef bourguignon in Paris “ this year Café des Musées. The pharmacy just announced the corner , a postbox just outside the front entrance. We were here in November and it was cold and raining so it was perfect for taking a long hot bath in that amazing tub. That’s 100% why I booked this property. It was everything I could imagine.
My husband said the shower didn’t very hot water.

Big apartment, good location in the Marais, thoughtfully equipped, few things needed repair
The nearest metro was about 4 blocks. Very safe/private entry. Good size room and very nice bathroom and shower. The washer/dryer combo was a big plus for our week there. I like the old world style building and courtyard. The light switches were easy to access, even from the super comfy king size bed.

Perfect location, very comfortable bed, excellent communications.
Great communications throughout our stay. Access was easy and we could drop off bags even before our room was ready, which was very nice! Codes for the doors provided and a lock box for the actual room key. Brilliant.
Each room in this place unique and different. Ours was comfortable but without a view to anything. I believe the other rooms might offer more space and more natural light.

Great location, Comfortable stay
Location was great. There is an elevator to carry your bag upstairs. It can fit 5 - 6 people family comfortably, and equiped with Stove, microwave, oven and fridge, making it practical for family stay.
The TV was not working duriing our stay. The host came and tried to fix it but not possible. The main bedroom mattras on the left side , maybe needs replacement, its already sunken in. It need more lighting, some of the lighting are not working making the place rather dark.

Perfect stay in the perfect apartment, in the perfect location, with the perfect host.
Host Paul communicated with us effectively. He met us at the door upon arrival and showed us all around the apartment. The apartment was so lovely and extremely comfortable, exactly as described. Perfect location and easy access to transportation.
The apartment and location are wonderful, however, it could be a bit challenging if stairs are difficult for a person.

Superb location, really easy and super friendly check-in.
But the room, my God - BEAUTIFUL.
It was the perfect Parisian stay.
The view out the windows was superb - of the Parisian rooftops.
It was so quiet for being in the city centre.
Having a Nespresso with the windows open in the morning listening to the sound of birds singing and church bells ringing somewhere was just perfection.
It really felt like a home.
There was no shower, just the bath - but being 'forced' to have baths was actually super relaxing.

Bath in bedroom was a bit weird at first but we found it fun and convenient.
The stairs were a bit scary at first too but again no problems.
The apartment was tastefully decorated and we felt immersed in our surroundings.
Everything was lovely and a fab wine shop and bar around the corner. Divvino was a fab find.

Lovely, spacious apartment but not for summer!
Spacious apartment in a lovely, quiet neighborhood that was an easy walk from the metro stop. Paul communicated with us promptly and often and gave clear instructions on arrival and use of the facilities. He was kind enough to meet us to hand over the key and allow us to check-in early. The apartment was well equipped with everything we needed including toiletries, bath robes and slippers and even laundry which we didn't need.
You can't control the weather but Paris was experiencing a heat wave while we were there. I booked the apartment because it was advertised as air conditioned, however, the air conditioner could not handle temperatures in the 90's F (30s C). It only cooled the apartment to 80+ and the main bedroom which is in the loft/attic was even hotter. You are basically sleeping in an unventilated attic in the summer so it was unbearable. They did turn the temperature down 1 degree at our request but again, not enough to cool the apartment. It ruined our first night sleep. Luckily it cooled down slightly on the second night to open the windows so we could breathe. Beware of booking this apartment in the summer!

Short weekend stay in the Marais
Very nice apartment in the Marais. It was cool even though the weather was hot. It had a kitchen with coffee and tea available and a very nice bath with walk in shower. Instructions were very clear on how to enter the apartment and responses by the owner were always very fast and helpful.

No AC / Poor Maintenance / Rude Host
We wanted to love this place. It looked so charming. We did like the location and the concierge (Paul) was polite and helpful. Wish we could say the same for the owner, because there was not much else to like.
Hopefully you will consider this review and book elsewhere. Just go look at how he treats any person with a complaint or concern. That is how you will be treated. My family's experience was marred by numerous issues and an uncooperative host. Despite the positive reviews, our stay was plagued with problems. The AC, booked specifically for my wife's asthma, did not function correctly. A repair person stated it was due to poor maintenance, not our use (as claimed by Parc Royal) and we have proof it was not working (showing the room temperature was consistently over 75 degrees). Additionally, the unit was unclean, with mold, soap scum, and dirty floors, and in disrepair, featuring loose fixtures and a leaking sink. The host was rude and dismissive, denying any refund. We have photos (attached). We simply asked to leave and be refunded for the remaining stay, but this request was also denied. Even with the proof of poor conditions, and non-functioning AC, Booking.com was not able to offer much without approval from the host so we will dispute through credit card. Edit (post-owner response): We wanted to leave due to the grotesque conditions and no functioning AC. We opened two windows because it was colder outside than in because the owner does not maintain the premises (as confirmed by AC repairman). The AC repair person also said they could not change the filters (also likely disgusting) because they did not have access and all units were running at max (so clearly not working right). In fact, Paul had to message all tenants to stop running AC max because it prevented the apartments from functioning properly. They never did function properly. It was so hot, we took pictures of all the windows people had open to help cool the place. This host is comically foolish. We only wanted a refund of the unused nights (he dismissed us). Perfect Marais apartment and location
What a fabulous find in the Marais! We had a brilliant stay here and it was perfect for a family of 3. The apartment location was perfect for us and also provided all home comforts. Our 4 year old especially loved counting how many steps it took to get up to the top floor of the building. We would certainly recommend this and would stay again!

Great location for a cozy stay in La Marais
The location in La Marais was a perfect and quiet home base for our stay in Paris! We thought the room had charm and character, while being cozy and functional. We had robes and slippers, a coffee machine and functional kitchen, and a cozy bed.
The elevator was broken for us during our stay. We didn't have enough toilet paper, but were restocked when asked. We had to keep a window open to keep a musty smell out of the bathroom.
