Luxury and élégance Place des Vosges

Location was perfect. The Place des Vosges is one of the historic treasures of Paris, quite apart from being such a beautiful and secluded square and park. Being in the Marais is also a joy. Entering through ached doors into a cobbled courtyard and then to the ground floor apartment, also gives a sense of privacy and quiet solitude after a hectic day. Tasteful and comfortable, it suited my family completely. Two bathrooms and a seperate wc served us well. Kitchen was well equiped and complete. Compact bedrooms but with great beds, efficient a/c, good lighting…

Just loved it

The location was great!

The flat had a few issues which could easily be addressed with improved maintenance. For example, the sofa bed in the living room is very beat up. It was very uncomfortable to sit when closed. Our suggestion is to replace. The coffee table we moved out of the way for our entire stay because it was broken. Should also be replaced. Suggest that it be replaced with an ottoman for durability and increased comfort. The curtain rod in the living room should also be addressed. It has partially fallen, which is very inconvenient since it is the only source of privacy from the courtyard. The fans provided in the unit were not sufficient. One was broken. Suggestion is to replace. A house manual should be provided with instructions on laundry machine, trash disposal, etc.

Bathrooms facilities : problem with drainage, broken fittings making it very difficult to open water tubs .

Excellent location and nice, modern apartment.

Not the best for a group as no noise proofing so can every movement is heard within the flat and only one key. Also some strange communications with host wanting to send a contractor (that we didn’t ask for or know about) while we were there.
