Sun Terrace Appartment

Great apartment with everything you could need for stay in Lucca. 30 minute easy walk through the beautiful historic city to train station (or less than 10 minutes on bus with bus stop just across the road). Less than a 5 minute walk to Borgo Giannotti where there were great local shops, restaurants, supermarket and a huge street market on the Sunday we were there. Very well equipped kitchen, lounge and comfy beds. Plenty of hot water for 3 back to back showers. The outside balcony/area was big and a great space for having breakfast, dinner and to chill on. We used the bikes to cycle to the historic centre and round the city walls which was great fun. A really useful folder full of info on the apartment and appliances was provided. Alessandro was a great host, really helpful and easy to contact. Bottle of wine, pasta and pesto - a lovely welcoming package.

The shower in the bath wasn’t the best arrangement but not an issue for us. The outside area was lovely (set back on a busy road - as mentioned in other reviews) but the times of day we used it did not generally cause a problem for us.

The apartment was large , clean and had everything we needed Our host was super helpful and always in communication with us. We were able to walk into luca every day , which was wonderful , we were able to safely park our car Would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone looking to visit lucca

The Sun Terrace apartment was smart, comfortable and very clean. Although we didn’t do a great deal of cooking it was well equipped if you wished to do so . We really appreciated the sum terrace and the outdoor sink and washing machine .

We would have appreciated a folding luggage rack , which would have helped when unpacking our suitcases . Traffic noise + at certain times of day but not too much of a worry .
