The apartment was lovely and well situated within the walls of Lucca , making it easy to get about.

Host met us at the apartment, and even let us in early.

Excellent accommodation in a beautiful city.

Proximity to shops, restaurants and historical sites and the train station. Two good sized bedrooms and two well appointed bathrooms.

Very Disappointing

The furniture in the apartment is dirty, especially the sofa and the yellow living room chair. The plants on the terrace are dead. The apartment is dark, not like the photos given and many light bulbs were out. The apartment is worn and needs an update of cleaning and freshness. I thought it was surprising that the host who let us in asked that we not contact him. Lastly we were unable to continue our stay and left 9 days early.

The property owner, left fabulous ideas of what to do in and around Lucca, many of which we did.

It was in the historic area within the walls of Lucca, which we walked and cycled around. There were cafes, shops and restaurants nearby.

For a pedestrian town, there were quite a few cars.

Great location, cozy apartment, great service

Great location intra murro. Close to the Porta Elsa, where it’s easy to find (free) parking — just a 15 min walk from the apartment. Comfortably furnished and very clean.

Long weekend in Lucca

Excellent location. Walking distance to the station and many bars and restaurants. Well equipped kitchen and air conditioning.

loved loved Lucca. nice apt overall. close to all the main sites

great location. comfortable beds. well staffed kitchen. pleasant furniture. clean. and the fabulous city of Lucca. a very walkable place with a great vibe.

at times cold and a touch damp in the apt. but it’s April and that may be typical. main complaint was unable to contact owner despite numerous calls before arriving. walked there from train station and found his father waiting for us to let us in. he was pleasant but it was unnerving not knowing if anyone was going to be there when we arrived as we were told to contact him 2 hours before arrival.

Excellent week in a lovely apartment.

The apartment was ideally located, really close to restaurants, the historic centre, the beautiful city walls and all local ameneties. It's decorated in keeping with the town's setting and has plenty of charm and character, whilst offering all the basic modern facilities one could wish for. The owner is always available and prompt to answer queries and assist if necessary.

A few extra towels would be convenient. It was not a problem for us, but, located on the first floor, there are narrowish stairs which could be more challenging for people with reduced mobility.

Pleasant

The flat itself is well maintained and equipped. We can recommend this place if you only stay for 1-2 nights and without car or any mentionable luggage.

The big negative is the missing parking space eventhough the ad clearly states that there is parking and in the pictures you see the street & house with parking spaces. When we arrived we were told we cannot park there and even the unloading is a problem since its within a ZTL so illegal to drive there. We stayed for one week with a child, so we have more than just a suitcase. The actual available parking garage is a long walk away and will cost you +/- 20€ per day, so you have to calculate a lot of extra money just for parking. You have to inform your guests about this situation and not describe this „issue“ in a folder INSIDE the appartment. Unfortunatly it is also very loud, you will hear every word that is spoken on the street and every car that drives by (locals are allowed to drive there and they do so plenty…).

we had very enjoyable stay.

the property was very spacious & had two bathrooms which was a bonus along with the outside balcony.

The bedding was very sparse as there was extra pillows in the wardrobe however no pillow covers/slips on them or anywhere else in the apartment so they could not be used. Also on arrival it would of been nice to have a bottle of cold water in the fridge along with some milk ,coffee & teabags just a few basics to see you through until you go shopping. one last thing the apartment was not throughly cleaned as when packing my case to leave, I came across a pair of red knickers down the back of the wardrobe obviously left from the previous occupants!!!

A good base to enjoy Lucca, central to lots of shops and the supermaket.

Good location in the street with the canal. Lots of cafes nearby as well as Anfiteatro.

The renovation of the apartment is not complete yet.

Favorite street in Lucca

Location was perfect, stayed in apartment just above this one twice previously. Air conditioning was adjustable in each room. Kitchen small but totally functional. Bathrooms nice and large for Europe. Host could not have been nicer. Security excellent.

Feedback re payment

I liked every thing about the property

The only issue I have is that I was not aware that there was an additional charge of 126 euros for electricity which we were asked for up front on arrival - I don’t believe we used any thing in the region of 126euro on electric during our time there and I feel the charge and amount we paid via booking .Com should have been all inclusive!

Gute Lage, relativ ruhig. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, es fehlt nur ein Wasserkocher

Leider sind die Duschwannen stark verschimmelt. Besonders in einem der zwei Bäder. Das geht eigentlich nicht.
