Great location & facilities but SO NOISY & lift broken
Spotless & spacious apartment with great facilities. Lots of hot water & soft, clean towels.
Great location - really close to shops, restaurants, lake & bus station. All within a few minutes walking distance.
NOISY!!! Music & noise from bars & the main road nearby until very late every night. Glass bins outside the door are emptied at 5am-6am each morning. Motorbikes & traffic up & down the road through the night.
LIFT DOES NOT WORK - we booked this because it had a lift as I struggle lifting bags after an accident but the lift did not work & looked like it had been out of order for a long time.
Air conditioning was not very good.

We had a really great time in Garda, the flat was very central, clean and tidy. Perfetto!
The property was very clean and well decorated, the layout was good and the equipment was in good order. The property is very central to Garda old town and the lake front (2 mins walk) The office staff are lovely and very helpful. We were claiming exemption from the tourist tax due to a disability and they obtained the form and had it all filled out ready for when we arrived. They kindly took us over to the flat and showed us round pointing out how to operate the window blinds and air con. There was a bottle of local wine and some water provided as a welcome gift there was also a small box with a little bottle of washing up liquid, scourer, shampoo and some other useful stuff. We had a small problem with a lamp blowing in the kitchen which we reported to them and it was fixed by the afternoon. The bars/restaurants along the lakeside are fantastic and just 3 minutes walk away. Our favourite was Catullo - great food and drink and very friendly staff. The lake steamers can take you to many other towns around the lake and run on a regular basis and are fairly cheap and you can get a drink on board! Make sure you don’t miss the last one home as getting back to Garda is difficult and expensive.
Most of the comments below are to help prospective renters and are not a fault of the management of the flat, The apartment is fairly close to the main road and a lot of noise is created mainly by unsilenced motor cycles, it is so loud at times that the double glazing is unable to cope and it can make conversation difficult. the same can be said for the recycling depot just across from the flat. this is mainly in the morning when all the bars turn up to empty their bottles into the bank, The locals seem to have no idea and do park right across the main door making it very difficult to get in or out especially if you have a pushchair or wheelchair. There is a music bar next to the flat and it can be a bit noisy at night as they tend to have the bands playing outside, but these things come with the convenience of being in the heart of the town.The cyclists on the promenade can be a problem, they are required to dismount and walk but surprise, surprise, most take no notice! However, all that said, we would not hesitate to use this lovely flat again and would thoroughly recommend this rental company who have many properties around Garda and Verona.

car parking was an 8 minute walk away which was not a problem and was free with a pass. Apartment is centrally located and a 2 minute walk to the lake.
The key had to be collected from the agent which was either a 15 minute walk or 5 minutes in a car. There is a short term facility for offloading/loading outside the apartment.

Good value for money, enjoyable experience.
Location was close to shops restaurants and the ferry terminal which helps with a mobility challenged relative so everyone can get the most out of the visit. Also staff very helpful with any issues encountered.
Only minor criticism would be that there was no seating on the balcony and the provision of conditioner and shampoo and soap would be no where near enough to sufficiently last a the apartment at full capacity for a week.

Exceptional
Exceptional setting and interior design! We loved every second spending there. Great location although you will need to walk a little bit as they do not provide the parking lot. Otherwise, good value for its money – you even have a statue in the apartment!
The apartment is next to the local pizzeria, so if you have a light sleep, we recommend picking the apartment with the Garda view, which is less crowded and loud (probably more expensive, too).

Lovely apartment but with major problems.
The property is lovely and has been decorated very tastefully and is bright and modern with good quality fittings. The bathroom is good with a good shower and the beds were very comfortable and we slept well. The road is very busy but the double glazing did a good job of keeping the noise out. The location is excellent, just 2/3 minutes from the lake. Wi-fi good.
Sadly we had a couple of bad experiences with this property.
The check in was terrible. We arrived by bus at the station at 2 pm and we had to walk to the offices of Montelbaldo, who we presume were representing the owners, to pay and get the keys and then walk back into town. It was 3.45 pm before we eventually entered the apartment. We have always either been met at the property or at a convenient location by the owner or their representative. Some properties use a coded key safe.
The second problem was that there were no utensils that one would reasonably expect to have in a kitchenette to prepare, cook and serve food. There wasn't even a bottle opener/corkscrew and no washing up liquid or dish cloth. In fact there was absolutely nothing. Also there were no cleaning items in the apartment and we had a small spillage and all we had to mop it up with was toilet paper.
To be able to self cater is very important to us due to a personal issue and to be unable to cook made things very difficult. We gave it a couple of days and then WhatsApped Montelbaldo but nothing transpired. When we arrived back in the UK there were a couple of unpleasant emails and text exchanges between us and Montebaldo where they, unbelievably, blamed us for there being no utensils in the property.
We feel very sad for the owners, Massimo and Francesca, who have clearly provided outstanding customer service to their guests in the past and have rightly built a great reputation over the years. In our humble opinion this reputation has been badly tarnished.
If Self catering is important then this apartment may not meet your needs. And if it is not important then, in fairness, it is a lovely apartment in a great location.

A comment that I received from a director of Montebaldo was this, and I quote..." we manage it in our own way; it is up to the customer to accept our way of working or not.

Overall our holiday was good, clean and comfortable.
The property is located close to a music bar which creates a lot of noise into the early hours and along with the early bin collection meant a disturbed nights sleep. Earplugs are essential for light sleepers. PS watch out for the electrics flicking off off if the aircon, kettle and other appliances are on.

Francesca is a very friendly and kind host. The apartment was very spacious and equipped with everything you need. Located in the heart of Garda you could reach every restaurant and bar within a couple of minutes.

Beautiful city apartment
The apartment has a really good location. Everything is just nearby. A car is really not necessary, you can just take a walk. We loved the facility! Everything was new and clean and really made with love. Theres air conditioning in every room and an elevator in the building which really is a relief in case you have heavy luggage. Also Francesca was a really kind and corteous host. She perfectly speaks English so there’s no problem with communication.
The only thing was that due to its location it was sometimes really loud at night. There are a few bars nearby and you could hear the people laughing, singing and screaming. It’s a city apartment so well it’s not that oddly. There could be better isolated noise cancelling windows. However that’s the only thing and was not really tragic :). I would definitely book again!

nice apartments
The apartments are very nice and spacious: big bedrooms, a big living room, a clean and spacious bathroom. The location is very good, just 50 meters away from the lake and close to several cafes, bars, restaurants and shops. Garda is a lovely village. The owners are very helpful and kind. The wifi works well. They provide tea and coffee.
In front of the building there is a popular bar that is crowded until late night. I didn't mind the noise, in fact I was among the crowd at the bar, but somebody else might.

Due to the central location you need to be aware of some bars in the neighbourhood, which is causing some noise also later in the evening and night (specially on Saturday).

Die Lage ist super nah am Gardasee, die Ausstattung ist für eine Woche ausreichend.
Leider war der Boden nicht sauber, die Lampen haben nicht alle funktioniert und für sieben Personen war leider nicht ausreichend Geschirr und Besteck vorhanden. Leider ist die Parksituation schwierig, man muss zum nächsten kostenpflichtigen Parkplatz ca. zehn Minuten laufen.
