The location of the apartment is excellent — right in the center of the pedestrian area, yet still quiet at night. Everything is easily accessible on foot. Barbara was also very welcoming during check-in and responded quickly to any questions we had via WhatsApp throughout our stay.
The apartment’s layout is quite unusual, spread across four floors, which made moving between spaces inconvenient and impractical. My husband and I stayed in the twin bedroom with the beds pushed together. While the mattresses were more comfortable than most we've found in Italy, one bed creaked loudly with any movement, which repeatedly woke me during the night. The furniture in the room also takes up a lot of space while offering very little practical storage, as the large wardrobes only provide hanging space.
The rooftop room is a nice idea in theory, but it becomes far too hot to comfortably use during most of the day, and the fan there did not work. It was also inconvenient having to carry food, drinks, and dishes up and down multiple floors. Overall, there wasn’t really a comfortable place to relax, since the seating throughout the apartment consisted mostly of daybeds and dining chairs.
The bathroom on the third floor had a broken toilet seat that pinched unexpectedly whenever used, the towel and toilet paper racks were in need of repair, and the folding door was awkward and difficult to open and close. We reported the broken seat, but unfortunately it wasn't possible to replace it over a weekend.
We were also charged an additional €12.50 per person for bedsheets, which felt excessive given the quality. In addition, only two very small rolls of toilet paper were provided for four adults, after which we were expected to buy our own.
The decor was also quite strange and not to our taste, with some artwork feeling more unsettling than welcoming.
Overall, despite the excellent location and friendly host, we found the apartment uncomfortable and impractical for an extended stay, and unfortunately would not choose to stay here again or recommend it to others.
