Wonderful Lakeside Stay with Friendly Hosts

Spacious and clean place with wonderful hosts. They provided us with detailed instructions, which made everything easy. The location is excellent—right by the lake, close to restaurants, beaches, and a nice walking area. The bus stop is also not far, which was very convenient.

The only downside was that the children’s room didn’t have air conditioning. Opening the window wasn’t really an option, as occasionally smells from the nearby restaurant kitchen would come in. We solved this by running the air conditioners in the living room and main bedroom and keeping the doors open. But honestly, this was the only inconvenience during our stay.

Great location and great value

We loved our stay at the Garda Sailor's House. The location is terrific, just a short walk down an alley way and we were right on the lake. There are loads of restaurants, cafes, Gelateria and shops. Also very close to the ferry terminal and about a 7 minute walk from the bus station. The kitchen facilities had everything we needed. Property was very clean and the info from the host was excellent e.g. keys, checking in, rubbish facilities and some little quirks of the property (e.g. power point located on underside of overhead kitchen cupboards).

No views of the lake, but it didn't matter as it is so close to the lake, it only took us one minute to get to the lake for a walk or to sit by the lake

Nice appartment for groups in the Center of Garda

The appartment is located in the city Center of Garda. Restaurants, small shops and the swim point can be reached within minutes from the appartment. One parking spot was included as well. The appartment was equipped with towels, a hair dryer, coffee machine, dishwasher and cutlery/plates.

Consumer products such as toilet paper, soap, dishwashing soap, salt&pepper needed to be bought, also for short stays.
