Colorful Apartment "Le Vele" in Central Location

Property is as described and as per photos. Clean and roomy. Communication with host/agent was via WhatsApp and never met in person. Did not turn up to check us in, just left a key. Had to send passport ID to her on WhatsApp and leave tourist tax on the table when we left. No receipt obtained. Not much effort in my opinion from her. As it was late October and cool the apartment was cold and took a second request before central heating was offered to be turned on as first response was a flat 'no'. Had to make do with the only Aircon units heat function to try and take the edge off in the meantime...which it struggled with. Otherwise location was great, 5mins walk down the hill into Garda water front and shops and restaurants etc. It was really quiet at this time of year but most places were still open. Used the rental car to explore Riva del Garda to the north of the lake and then down to Sirmione at the south end another day, both nice for an afternoon bimble around but generally quiet again. You can park along side the property on the street as it was quiet and no other cars about, struggled with the big rental car to reverse it in the allocated tight driveway space so gave up, didn't want to damage my car or the neighbours. Very scenic and mountainous in the region with some nice towns surrounding the lake, served its purpose for our short stay and I imagine in summer it could be a real treat as you would be able to make use of the various balcony areas on the property to enjoy the sun and views.

Die Wohnung ist sehr schön und groß, die Terasse ist ebenfalls ausreichend groß. Alles war angenehm sauber. Man hat eine schöne Aussicht auf den Gardasee und die Umgebung. Leider haben wir die Vermieterin nie persönlich kennengelernt, obwohl sie in der EG-Wohnung lebt. Wir hörten nur jede Nacht von unten mehrfach sehr lautes Kinder- und Erwachsenengeschrei, was regelmäßig unseren Schlaf unterbrach - sehr ärgerlich.
