Enjoyable stay in a lovely property.. very peaceful for a central location..

Location excellent.. high spec decor beautiful property with a lovely garden.. spacious bedroom with a comfortable bed.. bathroom luxurious with all toiletries included..

Have the breakfast available for at least 1 hr more, because with the jet lag, it’s difficult to catch the breakfast by 10 am.

It's the third time we have stayed. We like the location and the look and feel of the bedrooms.

good overall, but expected more for the price we paid.

i liked the architecture, design and and the staff, the room was comfortable but not as big as it seemed in picture. there was a noise coming from the upper floor from the early morning and the bed wasn't the best. breakfast was ok but almost everything was finished once we got to the common room during the recommended time.

Cosy and inviting stay close to tranquil Santo Spirito

Ottantotto is in a very convenient location near piazza Santo Spirito in a much quieter, peaceful area and it could not have been easier to arrive using public transport - the bus from the train station took us very close to the front door , or an easy 20 min walk. The palazzo has been very thoughtfully renovated in a way that maintains the charm of the building and the fitout of the rooms was very comfortable and made the most out of the available space (some rooms were on the smaller side, which is included in the description, so I'd look on the website to confirm which you prefer) - from the wardrobes to the bathrooms (which were really nice with great spacious showers with great water flow and nice shower products!!), to the thoughtful touches like additional comfortable blankets at the foot of the bed, and the light scent of the palazzo which was warm and inviting. The common room was a highlight, it's an inviting, cosy space where breakfast was prepared with care every morning, with good, simple stables such as milk, juice, pastries, meats/cheeses, yoghurt, cakes, and fresh bacon and eggs (fried, scrambled, omelette) were prepared on site as you ate, filter coffee was available and any barista made coffee at your request. The special brunch prepared for new years' day was an unexpected and much appreciated surprise. We were on a family trip and enjoyed being able to meet in this area to get ready for the day or have an evening tea together as there was an honesty bar and tea facilities left available. The courtyard was very cute and would be great in the warm weather. Staff are on site from 8am-1pm and were very kind, courteous and helpful, and were responsive when I called the available number after hours. We appreciated the cleaning staff who dropped fresh towels to the rooms every couple of days. We will definitely be returning.

Overall the beds and blankets were very comfortable, but a few of us found the pillows a little hard.

Great location but terrible stay due to heating not working people.

The property was in a nice central location and easy access to all the facilities. The rooms were nice and well designed.

The service was not great, the heating was not working in our room for the first night and we were freezing all night. The reception staff next morning wasn’t even apologetic. We messaged the staff on whatsapp on our second day to confirm if the heating was fixed or not but no response. The property is in a nice location but we did not enjoy our stay due to lack of heating in our room.

The most exceptional stay amongst all my travels

This property had everything you could think of that you would need. It felt like a home away from home. It was stylish yet to cozy. It had all the small details that you would not think of that make all the difference. I love how the windows to my room opened and closed to get fresh air. The help yourself bar for a cocktail, and the living area where breakfast was served each morning that led into a private courtyard filled with green felt relaxing, and like you were out of the city. What an oasis. The Internet was great for working and it was quiet. The diffuser that was in throughout the main areas made the whole place smell like luxury.

It was not value for money.

It’s was cute and cosy

It was very small, the bathroom leaked, housekeeping was slow. We left our room at 10am and returned at 1pm after specifically requesting that our room be done cause of the bathroom leaked but it was not done.

Superb hotel, location and staff!

Breakfast was exceptional. Beautifully curated property in both public spaces and in private rooms. Stunning back garden to enjoy morning breakfast or a drink at the end of the day. Bathroom in room was a marvel to see with gorgeous fixtures, etc. Hotel very accommodating in calling us a taxi when needed. The room was a little small but the focus on decoration detail made it a magical place to stay.

We would like to repeat our stay here at Ottantotto Firenze during our next visit to Florence.

I like its charming interior design, its color scheme, its cleanliness, its quietness+birdsongs amidst its central location, its good espresso+croissant and most importantly its small yet lovely team.

Like most places in the older part of town, we have to know how to keep plumbing smell under control, which we managed to have it pleasantly under control here.

Beautiful and comfortable stay in Firenze

The location is really good, close to the centre but at the same time the street is not busy and sleeping in the room that is streetside, was not noisy. Bathroom was beautiful and functional - everything was fit comfortably into a relatively small space. We had to leave early in the morning and we were given food bags to take away. I would stay again, liked the design and small garden and closeness to everything, (including nearby parking).

A little oasis - a place to recover from a busy day. Wonderful.

I loved it - the room was comfortable and attractive, the common areas were beautiful, the location is great - feels a little off the beaten path, hence a nice respite from the city - even though the walk to the Arno and Santo Spirito is mere minutes. The highlight was the terrace and garden - beautiful and serene. Staff were around in the morning and friendly and helpful, and the person in the kitchen made the most delicious coffee with perfect foam.
