Nice little central Padiham hotel.

Location good for us - visiting friends. Receptionist (Jen ?) Very nice and friendly. Room, clean and had everything you might need.

No control on the radiator so very hot in the room, even with the window open and no way to turn down or off. Bed squeaky.

The Hotel was easy to find, parking was okay. The staff were very friendly on arrival and my room was a great size, large comfy bed, and sofa. Shower and bathroom were very nice and clean.

The restaurant wasn't open, which I always find strange, however there was a nice Chinese restaurant two minutes walk from the hotel. Food was good.

What a gem of a place, will come again when in the area

love the little guest kitchen on my landing for an early get away breakfast and fresh milk for my coffee also lots of little extra touches in the room, very nice flapjack in a jar with the coffee and ive never stayed anywhere where you et your own Alexa in your room !

Cold

It was a location convenient

Our room was very cold and they wouldn’t put the heat on until much later. We don’t know why we had to wait for heat. The same thing happened the following day. We had to keep asking for the room to be heated.

Great stay provided everything we wanted for a very reasonable price

Lovely comfy bed and linen and great bathroom with walk in shower. Good location for busing into Burnley for the football. Friendly staff and good food in the evening. Very good value for money. Will return.

Ordering every item of breakfast the night before seemed a little strange but it was perfectly OK. We were happy with the toast and cereal breakfast included in the room price.

Taking hospitality one step further.

The breakfast selection was really good. It was decent grub too! The added touch of the doggy sausage was most welcome! The room itself was very comfy, although a fan wouldn't have gone amiss as it was a warm night even with the windows open. Also, a shower where I'm not having to crouch to fit under was just the tops! Very happy with that! The room we had came complete with access to the roof terrace, felt right posh having brekkie out there!! We look forward to paying it the Lawrence another visit!

Exceptional stay.

Loved this place, rooms had everything and more. Way to many sweets on offer in the room for me, finished half a jar in the first hour. Great shower , great bed and lovely use of well stocked kitchen. As perfect as you can get.

room was an absolute Marathon to get to dispute bring almost empty. Dinner was a farce and the morning was diabolical

average, poor breakfast, ice cold room

fantastic architecture, so much effort made to present a characterful building

kettle did not work room as freezing cold no central heating towel rail did not work shower , no hand held and all the shower gel, shampoo or and conditioner bottle dispensers did not work breakfast was cooked in grease, sausages were not cooked, mushrooms were just oil , toast was just bread. Orange juice was great, Tea was fabulous, didn’t offer any deductions for these issue’s which was very disappointing

it is beautifully built and some of the rooms that are used to advertise the hotel are really amazing.

the room I got was on the first floor or second floor if you count the mezzanine. there is no lift and the incline is steep.
