B&B La Cornice

La Cornice wasn’t simply where we stayed during our four nights in Tuscany—it became one of the most special parts of our trip. Benedetta contacted us before our arrival with detailed check-in information, making everything completely effortless after a long travel day. Our room was exceptionally clean, comfortable and quiet, with excellent air conditioning and a wonderful private balcony where we spent much of our downtime. The view of San Gimignano is unforgettable. Seeing that skyline across the Tuscan countryside every morning at breakfast and again at the end of the day was truly extraordinary. Breakfast was incredible. There is a menu with numerous made-to-order choices. Over four mornings we tried many different things and everything was wonderful. Most special of all was Benedetta herself. She is warm, welcoming and clearly loves what she does. Every morning she asked about our plans and offered helpful suggestions from a local perspective. We also loved meeting Elena and Benedetta’s very sweet and helpful father. La Cornice is approximately a 10–15 minute walk from the walls of San Gimignano. The walk into town is partly uphill, but very manageable at your own pace. We actually preferred staying outside the walls, especially with the convenient private reserved parking beside the B&B. It was also an excellent base for exploring other parts of Tuscany. We genuinely cannot think of anything we would change.

Absolutely nothing. We would return to Tuscany just to stay at La Cornice again!

Nothing in particular but car Parking could have been kept free of charge.

The view was spectacular and it was well maintained. The breakfast and parking were great prices. Hospitality was excellent. And everything was spotless. It was such a wonderful place to stay.

Love everything about it

The location is both beautiful and well located - walking distance to the Centro Storico. Breakfast on the terrace was also wonderful. A great bonus is the parking! Host Benedetta is very helpful, responsive, knowledgeable and welcoming.
