Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo Premier Grand

The service and experience was excellence. I had a premier grand room with access to the Club Lounge for breakfast and evenings. This made the stay extra special. The team at the Executive Lounge helped us to plan our days and were an absolute delight. I hope to return to see the friendly faces and say a special thank you to Furya, Nakazani and Omiya who went above and beyond each day to make our stay one we will never forget.

Lifts were often a wait

We stayed in a Grand Premier suite. Having access to the club lounge was definitely worth it. Nice size suite. All very comfortable. Great view from out suite as well.

One think that was disappointing was that the canapes in the evening in the club were exactly the same every night (same with the afternoon tea refreshments). This is probably OK if only staying for a couple of nights - but it gets quite tedious for a long stay (we were there for 9 nights so it got quite boring). This is different to other 5 star hotel clubs (at least in Singapore - such as the Pan Pacific and the Ritz Carlton) where the food and drinks change daily for a week (and then repeat). The other downside was that the hotel would not provide a free late check out - as the hotels ion Singapore do. Because our flight was not leaving until 10.30 pm we asked if we could have a late check out. The answer was no, unless you paid for it. So we paid an additional $450 to have a check out at 5 pm rather than the mandatory 11 am.
