    I was a bit worried from the other reviews, but I had a great stay at Hotel Rocks. It is true that whenever you leave the hotel, you have to leave the key at the reception. However, whenever I came back, there was always someone at the reception desk, ready to give me my key back. No matter the time of day or night. The staff was always trying to help and even though English was a bit tricky, we got everything sorted out very easily. The rooms are small but you're basically getting personal space and facilities for just a bit more than the price of an hostel, which is really hard to beat. The location is really good - about 10 minutes away from Kabukicho and pretty much right next to the Shinjuku line. Overall a great stay, will consider again if I ever stay in the area gain!

    It’s a sex hotel so just be aware of that when you book. Good area if that’s all you care about.
