    The biggest pro of this hotel is its location in Shinjuku Nichome. Perfect for those who want to enjoy the nightlife there. The room is decent for the price and not too small. I have stayed here a couple of times. However, for this time around, the a/c in my room was not cold enough (it got better on my last days, for an unknown reason). The bathroom had a bit of smell. One particular female staff was not very friendly.

    Here’s a polished hotel review version: We stayed here during our Tokyo trip, and while it was a bit pricey since we booked only a couple of weeks before traveling, the location made it worth it. It’s less than a 5-minute walk to Shinjuku-Sanchome Station, which made getting around very convenient. It’s also close to Isetan and other shopping areas in Shinjuku, so the location is definitely one of its biggest strengths. The downside is that the hotel feels very old and outdated. They still use metal keys instead of key cards, and the furniture looked quite worn out—the wooden tables had lots of scratches and marks. There was even an area under the table with very thick dust, like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. Also, be prepared because the bed is very hard and stiff. On the positive side, the refrigerator worked properly, the hairdryer was fine, and the AC was okay. I also appreciated the strong water pressure in the shower. Just note that if you’re around 5’5 or taller, your head might hit the bathroom ceiling because it’s quite low. They also provide shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel, and they all smelled really nice. Overall, if you’re not too picky about how the hotel looks and mainly care about location, this is a decent option. But if comfort and a relaxing hotel stay are important to you, there are definitely better choices. Lastly, I also noticed that the reception area was always empty. They’re always inside the room and you have you to ring the bell to call them.
