Tofukuji Sakura & Tsuki

The common room was a wonderful place that drew us all together after a long day of exploring Kyoto. The convenience stores around provided great options for meals that we could bring back “home” for dinner and breakfast. The location is in a very pleasant and quiet part of the neighbourhood and yet it’s very close to amazing central tourist locations. It’s also very conveniently close to Kyoto Station. This property is the reason we fell in love with Kyoto. Our modern hotel in Tokyo paled in comparison.

Location was fantastic and the place had charm. Our family of four, including two older teenagers found it to be plenty of space. The layout of as very traditional which we liked and they were thoughtful in providing tea/coffee and appliances to enjoy.

Loved it wouldn’t change it.

The location is conveinent, you can find family mart and conveinent store 5 mins away from the place you stay. and also the train station and bus easy to located

The rooms are cramp, interior are rundown but they have everthings you needed
