The Wee Anchor is a gorgeous traditional cottage very close to the shore. We felt part of the village culture and away from the usual tourist route. We beachcombed for sea glass (found lots) on s nearby beach, and used arbroath as a base to explore Pictish standing stones, arbroath cathedral, dundee and ‘smokies’!

Had a great stay. The cottage had everything we needed. Jean the owner even came to the train station and picked us up then showed us round the cottage. Will definitely be booking another stay there.

Jean, picked us up from the train station and took us to the wee Anchor and showed us around and even left goodies to make us feel even more welcome.

Perfect location in Arbroath, one street away from seafront. Excellent facilities in the house. Everything was perfect.
